I need a little help with my new puppy. Everything I have read about them says not to exercise her to much... Nothing will tell me how much is too much... Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thank you.

My nine month old dominican chihuahua wont stop biting his private area!! Ive checked him multiple times for fleas and he doesnt have a single one. I gave him a bath two days ago and it didnt seem to help. He just sits around and bites his area. Ive tried making loud noises when he does it to try and detour him from doing it (such as clapping, etc), but it doesnt help. He just ignores me and continues biting away. Why is he doing this?? Hes been to the vet recently, got his shots and was deemed healthy. Someone mentioned using a hot spot spray on his private region, but i'm worried about that possibly giving him an infection or something.. I'm not sure, ive never used that type of product so i'm just being cautious. Can anyone help me out here? I'd appreciate it! Thanks so much!

My brother, who handles snakes alot, milks the snakes and then drinks the venom to build up an immunity. The other month he was bitten by a Tiger Snake, usually lethal and didn't die. Can you build up an immunity to venom by drinking it and smoking it? (apparently you get high from this)

My cat jumped up on the bed this morning and i was petting him and when I scratched his but near his tail he flipped around and bit at me. I turned the light on and checked it out, and he has a HUGE lump, like an inch in diameter, right where his tail starts. I cant tell if its a tumor (I had a white cat we eventually lost to cancerous tumors) , or if its a wound that got infected, or if he hurt his tail (my dog sprained his tail once and it swelled up)...
He is an ASH, all black, under a year old. He has been eating mice and birds every day, I dont know if that makes a difference. Im going to get him to the vet, but not until later in the day. Please ease my nerves!

We didnt have the chance to get either fixed because it has only been 1 week. Anyways you can guess what happened. She is only 8 months old. Is there something that can be done to stop the pregnancy? a morning after pill?

I was searching thru craigs list last night and came across a boxer/rottie puppy. 7 weeks old may I just add. I emailed this woman and asked how much she was selling her for. She emailed me back asking $350. WHAT???? Are you serious, its a mutt? I can get a purebred boxer by paying a little more then that price. Anyone else outraged on the prices of these dogs now days. How is it they are getting money for MUTTS and stupid people paying for them? Remember when mutts were free to a good home? Remember when kittens were free? Unreal!!!!

I'd love my kittens to meow more...at the moment they are very vocal they Prrrttt loudly and chunter away to them selves and each other and they give out these little pathetic cries when they want food..but thats it..

they dont really MEEOW!..is this becuase they are just learning to use their voices? they are still only 7/8 months.

is the fact the Prrrtt so much a sign they will meow later in life?

I know they aren't shy!
so last night I was sat watching t.v quietly, they were playing making lots of little noises as they do.. then one of them went to the door to get out..but it was silence, he just stares at me,
I was meowing at him to try and encourage him to meow back..but he just stares at me untill i open the door for him...
then I might get a little Prrrt by way of a thankyou.

One of my neighbours (a few doors down) is pi*sed off with me as his cat keeps eating my cat's food.

I have a cat flap and three cats of different ages including one elderly. Because they are fed dried food and are not greedy, I tend to leave food down for them to help themselves - it's much easier and I feel better for the older one who likes to eat little and often.

The neighbouring cat comes in and eats some of the food - I shoo her away when I see her but she usually does it when the house is empty or at night.

Do I have to change my routine just to please this neighbour - its not my fault his cat is greedy! Why should I have to shut my cat flap when my cats love their freedom?

So my family and I have been wanting a golden retriever for a while now, and last month we started searching for breeders. We finaly contacted one and we went to visit his home yesterday afternoon.. everything seemed fine, until we felt like he was a little too pushy in trying to sell us his puppy? Ive read that good breeders wont do this. Here are some things that we thought might be a concern:

There are 11 females and 5 males.
He uses his own males to father the pups (I thought most of the breeders looked for a male from another owner to breed with their female.. or no?)
He refused to give us references (names numbers) of other owners unless we put a $500.00 deposit down on one of the pups
There was no gaurantee of health. Meaning once I bought the pup, Im on my own even if it gets hip dysplacia or some other medical problem. I thought a good breeder would allow you have the puppy for a while and if something went wrong, you could return it?
