We haven't left the house for more than a day in over three years because we can't figure out what to do with our cats while we're gone! I'm afraid boarding them will be traumatic and I don't know of any pet sitters. The indoor cats would probably fine but we have an indoor/outdoor who I'm afraid would go nuts if confined for any amount of time. What do you guys do?

She just twitches and shakes her head to the side like she's trying to shake something off, and sometimes she starts scratching after. It almost seems like she thinks something is after her. Could she have mites or something?

Has anyone used water clarifier? It makes cloudy water clear. I used some and I got a few more fish and now my tank is kinda cloudy again. I wanted to use the clarifier again, I just want to be sure it's okay for my fish.

I have tried several times to get them to eat. I moisten puppy chow and mash it up with broth from the food. And they won't eat it. I have tried separating them from the mom for awhile still they don't want to eat. This is the mom's first litter and she is very protected of them and doesn't want to leave them for very long. I don't know what else I can do to get them to eat. The puppies have already been sold. And I wanted to know if this is normal that they don't want to eat yet. The last litter my other female had; the puppies were eating at 4 and 5 weeks of age and the new owners came and got them when they were 6 weeks old. But these puppies are totally different. They just don't want to eat the food. Any help on how to get them to eat will be greatly appreciated. I breed dogs and the new owners are really anxious and want to get their puppies as soon as possible. Again thanks to everyone who answers this question!

Ok, so a couple days ago, I came home and there were the remains of a squirrel's tail in my yard. I just hoped that the dog got the tail, only. This afternoon I hear her going crazy in the back yard (the dog next door, too). I go out and see a young squirrel cornered, before I can catch the dog the squirrel tries to make a run for it to the gate. Poor thing didn't make it and the dog killed it quickly. I had to chase the dog for half an hour before I could get her to drop it so I could dispose of it.
I don't want to even think about the tail from the other day...
She's a sweet, friendly dog to humans, a mixed breed, but looks like a country "huntin' hound". Any ideas on how to save the other stupid squirrels (other than keeping the dog locked up)?

I've always fed my rabbit hay, alfalfa, different grasses, fruits and vegetables, but now she is a mother for two days. Is it still good to keep her eating these things or are any of these things bad for her or the milk for her babies.

They were struggling, so it was hard to get it in exactly the right place. I'll call the vet tomorrow, but meanwhile, does anyone know just how toxic it is? (We rarely use the spot treatments. Most months we manage with natural treatments as a deterrent, but we have so many cats that when we see fleas we must take action immediately.)

My puppy is about 4.5 months old and she is an outside dog, but not will keep her inside at night because its cold and wet. When we brought her home she was about 8 weeks and we kept her in the house for about 3 days and then afterwards we put her outside as a guard dog. I am planning to keep the puppy inside more often now just not night. how can house train her. I dont need to potty train her cause i will usually make a schedule and take her outside when its time. If that does not work i can train her. How can i train her to behave and not be hyper at home? I want her to just feel relax and chill with my family.

IN reading this article, does anyone know what the dosing of Prednisolone would be??

A wide variation of treatments have been applied in cases of eosinophilic granuloma, reflecting the lack of any one uniformly successful treatment, and the unsatisfactory outcome of treatment in many patients. It would seem that the most successful approach is a four to six week course of the steroid prednisolone. This may resolve the lesion, but, if not, it may be followed by cryosurgery - a double cycle of controlled freezing and thawing. Although this inevitably leads to some scarring, recurrence seems less frequent than with other methods of treatment. In some cases Ovarid has also been used successfully. Whatever treatment is used, recurrence is common and the treatment may have to be repeated.

The breeder who sold him to me surprised me and gave him to me too early ( I think). Anyway, since he is so young...how many times a day am I supposed to feed him? Also, he sleeps 23 hours a day...is that normal? He actually will be 5 weeks old this coming Friday Oct 5th... Another question, his legs are not strong at all...is that normal also?

I just found a kitten and on the front paw the fur is coming off. Like as if it was a sunburn on a human. It is also starting to do the same on the back paw, too. The Craw itself does not appear to be hurting her. What should I do about treating it, I can not afford to pay a vet bill and my kid has grown attach to her?

I have a 30 gal tank w/ 4 dwarf gouramis. The flame gourami has a lesion. I have treated w/ small amounts of melafix (1 cap every 2 days 3x) in the main tank. I added 5 TEAspoons of disolved salt tonight as well after reading that it was ok. Since then I have also read dwarfs will not take any salt. I will do a 40% water change tomorrow if I get lots of answers that say they will not tolerate this. Thanks.

Were thinking maybe a chocolate?

And nothing obvoius such as Hersey.

The 10 points will not go to anyone who throws a list of 20 names they are just thinking up as they type.

It would help if you owned one or would like to and could share the names you thought about for yourself.
