Vegetables should be routinely added. Recommended:
Carrots
Broccoli
Peas
Leafy greens.
Sweet potatoes, pumpkin, yams, and squashes are all excellent additions to the diet. Sweet potato is especially good, inexpensive, easy to prepare, and readily accepted. Sweet potato should be cooked, and can then be used a portion at a time over a few days. They can be mashed and mixed so well into the diet that all animals will accept them. Carrots often need to be cooked lightly or shredded/chopped finely, or they may not be accepted or completely digested.

You can also give your dog cottage cheese and yogurt.

Carrots, green beans, peas, sweet potatoes, spinach, celery are all good. Apples, blueberries, and cranberries are good fruits for dogs, but should only be given in very small amounts.

Most other veggies can be given in moderation. Corn, lettuce greens, and broccoli are bad though. (Well, broccoli is not actually bad, but it causes a lot of gas.)

Beware of pumpkin, dogs love it, but it is a natural laxative for dogs and might give them the runs.

A lot of people mentioned onions and garlic, although I don't think they are actually veggies, but it's important to realize that only RAW garlic is toxic to dogs, so don't freak out if you've given them food with cooked garlic in it before- any processing removes the toxic compounds, and processed garlic is actually good for dogs just like it is people. Many high quality dog foods incorporate garlic.

Garlic and onion and chocolate are toxic to dogs. My dog loves plantains, bananas, grapes, apples, and many other foods.

All kinds are good for them, especially raw.
It's kind of like with people, the leafy green and bright colored are best.

Don't give them onions, though. Those are toxic to dogs.

I give mine bits of carrots instead of treats.

Mine love the baby carrots, so I use them for treats. Not bad for their teeth either.

i give my dogs carrots, and sometimes peas, they love mashed pototes. i do not give them corn, corn does not digest well for them. i know that you mentioned veggies but please forgive me but never give dogs chicken bones or chocolate, that will kill them.
