Um, what the...? I never said I wanted the name to match his color!!
I just mentioned Hershey because I have seen others suggest that for a "chocolate" lab.
Im open to ANY names, other than that one.

How about Bronson or Thor? I love those names for any boy dog, not necessarily labs, but it makes any dog sound big and bad. LOL
Dont pick things like Scout, Scooter, or Gunner. There are aot of labs named that. And I am sure you want to be unique.
I love unique names. I have a 9 lbs Schnuazer named Dinky. I havent heard one named that yet. I also own a 120 lb Neapolitan Mastiff named Ellie.
You will know when you have found the right name for your new baby.

I like Cooper and Beau.
Not very original, but I like them both. We just adopted a dog and my kids named him Dragon. (he'll weigh about 200lbs when full grown). You should give him a name that will work when he's full grown. 5 years ago we adopted a dog from the pound. They told us he was 2 and full grown. (I was an unexperienced dog owner then so I did not know) Turns out he was 4 months, any way we named him Gizmo, well Gizmo does not exactly fit the 95 pound Dane mix he grew into.
(Just for the record we still have him)

Well, I have a black Lab and his name is Bobo. I doubt you'd like it since you want something that goes with his color. Maybe you can just think of a name that has nothing to do wit his color because when you try doing that, it's hard. Try going to Google and put in dog name and it might give you a petname site.
