We haven't left the house for more than a day in over three years because we can't figure out what to do with our cats while we're gone! I'm afraid boarding them will be traumatic and I don't know of any pet sitters. The indoor cats would probably fine but we have an indoor/outdoor who I'm afraid would go nuts if confined for any amount of time. What do you guys do?

My wife and I have experienced the same dilemma. We can take our cat on vacation because we have a motor home. But there is always the chance that she will escape and we won't find her. This happened once and we found her under a wood pile.
