I have a goldfish, and I feel kinda dumb, but I love him, like I love the rest of my pets (which includes 3 dogs, 1 cat, 3 hamsters, 2 betta fish, 10 guppies, 4 catfish, and 1 cockatiel)

But, i love my one goldfish just like i love my hamsters

He comes up and lets you rub his head (hes a 4 inch oranda goldfish)

Do you love your pet fish, or do you just think im crazy

i grew up riding horses...mainly quarter horses and arabians. but it's been about 10 years since i've been on one. i've been shopping around. i want a horse that is very gentle (i have a 2 year old daughter) and a horse that loves to be around humans as we plan to spend lots of time with it...even apart from riding. any breed recommendations. advice...?

Usually after vomiting or feeling sick, a dog instinctively eats grass. Why? What is in grass that makes them feel better? Could it ever work on humans?

Please help us we are trying to get an aquarium filter. There are no holes linking the tubes and the underground. Does the filter sit under the tray and the hose go up the tube or does the hose sit at the bottom and the filter stay at the top?

I have 2 females and one male. They never ever wanted to be picked up or even touched. Is that normal for a duck or is it because of something that happened? They are about 14 months old. We let them run all over the yard but I still can't make friends with my ducks especially my drake.

She is very smart and very fast. She will run over bite really hard and then run away. As if she knows she will get in trouble. I havent really started disciplining her because she's so tiny and I wasnt sure if she was old enough to understand.

I adopted my kittens from an animal shelter that had spayed them the day before I took them home; a staff member told me to give my kittens the antibiotics every 12 hours. Unfortunately I neglected to ask for how long. In addition, the area around the stitches is mildly swollen on both of my girls. can anyone help this first-time owner?

I have two 1 1/2 inch lake catfish (caught right after they hatched, have been captive for about 4 months)

They have recently been moved from a 10 gallon guppie tank, to live in my 20 gallon tank with my single goldfish

One of the catfish has done this twice already today...he would swim around flipping, and twirling all crazy

What is wrong...should he be seperated from the other fish for now...the only other tank i have is a 3 gallon tank with a filter and no air bubble

WHAT SHOULD I DO?

So my boyfriend won me fish right? Because I am a fish lover, I went out and bought an aquarium kit and everything. The kit came with a Whisper Aquarium Filter. I installed it.. everythings just peachy. My fish are still alive, but I was wondering. because it re-circulates the water, do I need to go out and buy an air pump. There are bubbles appearing when the water pumped out of the filter hits the water, but I'm not sure if its enough for my fish. The tank is 5 aquariums and I have two small goldfish. Answer ASAP, please :)

What does activated carbon really do in my fish tank? Ups and downs? Is it necessary?

I also heard you can put zeolite into your tank. It will supposely absorb ammonia. What do you guys think? Anybody used it? Any significant effects on water quality?

I adopted a 2 months old kitten about 2 weeks ago, and hopefully he can be my 3 years old big cat's friend. I used the "door trick" and seprated them in the first week, then i started putting them in one room to see each other few hours a day.
My big cat is peaceful and gentle, so he wouldn't attack the new kitten. He only hisses when the kitten gets too close to him, but then the new kitten is getting very mean. That new kitten always tries to ambush big cat and chases big cat all over my apartment. Big cat does try to fight back some, but he really isn't so good at it. The new kitten just beats the big cat almost every time.
Although so far they two haven't used claws and tooth on each other too much(mostly just chasing), I am so worried my big cat would live unhappily with new kitten. I neither want to send the kitten away or have my big cat to be unhappy. If you know how to deal with this mean kitten, please help me!!
