The only fish on your list that might appreciate a bit of salt are the Mollies. The Plecostomus, loach and catfish will probably die and the others may or may not adapt to it.

It's worth noting that plants don't generally like salt either so if it's a planted aquarium you might have trouble.

When I first started fish keeping over 40 years ago the recommendation was to put a sick fish into salt water. In my experience very few fish recovered from this "treatment" and with the remedies available these days the "treatment" has become redundant so I'm a bit puzzled as to why you want to put salt into the tank at all. With the possible exception of the Mollies, it won't do any good and it might do a lot of harm.

Incidentally, goldfish are cold water fish, not tropicals.

The Clown Loach will not tolerate the salt at all. It will soon die. Depending on the type of Catfish, that would also not work. The Tetras will probably not appreciate it, but they will live. The Mollies are the only fish in there that would benefit from it, so I wouldn't use the salt at all... Email me if you have any questions.

EDIT: Salt is fine to use with Goldfish, just be sure you use the right dosage... http://www.kokosgoldfish.com/Salt.html

Why do you want to put salt in the aquarium the fish will be fine without it, if its not broken, dont fix it.

it will kill your clown loach!

fish like tetras and some catfish dont like salty water.

If you do intend to add salt then you should do it slowly so the fish dont get stressed

No salt at all should be put in tropical freshwater fish and goldfish are coldwater fish and should be kept in a unheated tank.
