yea, my thumb was bleeding, i didnt notice, when i did notice, my dog licked at it and the blood was all gone. it was dried blood also... will anything happen to it? (it was a little bit only)

ive just found out from my very angry nieghbour whos just retired so is at home alll the time now that my lab is barking really badly when i go out,i dont leave him long 2-3 hours max a couple times a week ,but what is there i can do?
and can he do anything about him barking offically?

i found 5 kittens just being left out on the sidewalk and i was told that they've been there for days exposed in the heat and rain so i took them in my flat to nurse them until they're older, but i can't keep them for long since pets aren't allowed here in my condominium, i sneaked them in. and i have 2 cats already that i keep in secret. the prob is, here in my country, people are quite brutal to animals and doesn;t really care at all, we don't have any animal shelter. i already tried asking my friends if they would like to adopt some kittens, so far nobody likes them :/ if only i have my own place and a spacey one i would defenitely keep them. it breaks my heart too if i just have to leave them somewhere, but where? i'm still trying my luck to find someone who's interested in adopting them. but if ever i couldn't find one....where should i leave them? they need some place where they can survive.

Most dogs ignore me or come up with tail wagging. Some dogs however run toward me barking loudly. I am not convinced that "Barking dogs don't bite." Moreover I have a heart condition and don't need the excitement. In Canada it is against the law for a person to make threats to another. I don't see why I should put up with it from a dog when I am walking for my health. Dog owners - if you have trained a dog to behave when out for a walk, please advise your fellow dog owners how to do it.

my familys toy poodle has a heart tumor on his heart that is leaking fluid into his lungs and making him cough and needs to take the meds to help slow his heart down we have tryied giving him the meds by mouth and he either growls at us or squrims out and the meds go every where but in side him we have tried to give it two him by hiding it in rollover but his has been choking on it lately we would try can food but he notice the meds can someone help my family and i please

my baby (reba) is almost 12 and she has a huge growth on her gum that is getting larger and bleeding. She is peeing a lot and even having multiple accidents in the house a day sometimes with blood, she is also drinking alot. i have been told to put her to sleep because she is not happy and might be experinecing kidney failure , but she doesn't cry or anything about it. Any ideas all doc says is its up to me. i love my dog but i dont want her to suffer.

well a have found a lump on my 4 and a half month old pug i'm taking her to the vets as soon as they open this afternoon.

I received an Amazon 2 days ago and the bird absolutely stinks of urine bad. I have given her 2 different baths but cannot seem to get her to stay in long enough to do anything? Is there some kind of soap or something that is not harmful to Parrots that I could use on her, or a powder or something? Please help.

I have a 10 gallon fish tank and I have already reused the rocks 2 or 3 times and I'm pretty sure it's not good to use them again. So, I was wondering if you really need gravel for the tank or is it just part of design or show. I have another question also, why is there slimy stuff in the filter? Everytime I clean the fliter, the area that has the little pipe to pump the water always has slimy stuff. I can never reach far enough down to get to it to clean it. Someone please tell me how I can clean it and what causes it, also please answer my other question. Thanks

I am transferring as a Junior to a university in Los Angeles and I am going to rent a studio apartment instead of living in a dorm. This is my first move away from my parents who will be living 380 miles away. My cat really is close to me and sleeps in a chair next to my bed every night. She even meows like crazy when I am not home at night when I stay out late. She has all the comforts that a cat could possibly want here at home (she has 3 cat trees, cat tubes, and multiple rooms to roam in). If she went with me, I probably wouldn't be home during the day, and the room would be a lot smaller for her to run around in, but then again she really relies on my attention and doesn't seem to like my parents very much. I am debating whether I should take her with me. I feel like I am betraying her if I leave her but I also feel like it might not be the best situation for her to live in.

When a cat has kittens , can there be more than one dad to the litter. I got told that there can be a few to a litter, but my fella and his father, my father in law are saying that there can only be one. I always thought that a cat mates with as many males as she wants, then she releases her eggs. I could be wrong so i would be gratefully for your answers. There must be someone out there who can help me!!!

I have no clue how to spell it though but I just got a little boy Chihuauia yesterday and cant think of ANY names so if you could please help me with suggestions, that would be fabulous. Some details are his coat is black and tan with a a little white spot close to his neck, he also has tan legs and white feet. PLEASE HELP! I am completey drawing a blanjk for names. The puppy was a gift and I had told the person that I wanted a new puppy but I hadnt expected it so soon so I hadnt had any names ready. I love it soooo much. My betta fish is very pale and listless. Before yesterday he was his usual energetic, happy self, and then yesterday I saw him looking sick. Can someone please help me to help him get better? What is wrong with him and what can I do? I have only had him around 6 months and love him. I don't want him to die.

There is one that I am thinking of adopting from the shelter, but is feeling sorry for him the right reason to adopt it? He is the one cat there that I don't think anyone else will adopt. He looks so sad in his cage. He's not very attractive, but he is very affectionate. Thinking about it has actually been keeping me up at night and I feel sick to my stomach. Not sure if I should adopt him or not. I already have an adult cat I adopted last year that seems fine and happy to be an only cat. I think she'd get jealous and angry if I brought another one home. What do you think I should do?

I am currently using loose ring snaffle, and it comes out of each side of his mouth by about 2cm, and sometimes more on one side. I think it is too big. he fights it even when I have loose contact. Reason??? How do you get them to accept the contact of the bit? I dont expect him to stretch down into it much yet.

I'm raising a litter of orphaned kittens. A retired vet told me to give the kittens Kaopectate for their runny stool. Research on the internet said the new formula with Bismuth Subsalicylate is highly toxic for adult cats. Why would it be alright for kittens?
