The heartworm preventive medication. I can buy it from Canada without a prescription, but it's not the meat flavored chewable type.

Hey everyone.
I found a very very small egg on the floor of the chicken coop today. I mean it was small, probably about and inch long. I have five pullets (approximantly 4 months old) was it one of them that layed it, or was it one of my bantams? How old are chickens before they start laying? Do thier eggs start off tiny and get bigger? Is it safe to eat? LOL Will it hatch if I put it witIh my broody bantams eggs? (I do have a rooster). This is my first time raing chickens ftom baibies, so I have never seen such a tiny egg.
Thanks for the replies!

I have a serious delima here. My Aussie Puppy(5months old) tries to kill my chickens everytime I free range them. I have just been keeping them in the pen, but am getting terrible egg quality. I have tried chaining the pup up, but she is going to kill herself trying to get out. (she is used to roaming the yard). She almost killed one of my Bantams yesterday. How do I stop this behavior? Or will she always be a killer? She also tries to attack my big goat and my baby goat. I know she is a herder and its instinct to herd, but is it normal for her to want to kill? She gets a crazy ook in her eye. Should I just get rid of her? Is there a training method that will deter this? My kids are very attached to her, but I am afraid this terrible behavior might be turned to the kids (they can sit on her, pull her hair take her food away, even her favorite bone), and she has never shown aggresion towards them. I have four acres and no fencing. Please help! We love this dog, but dont want a killer.

i own 2 female bulldogs, 1 female staff & 1 male staff.
i recentley got a 12 week old male bulldog and 2 my horror he was killed by the male staff when i wasnt around.
the male staff has never been agressive and never attacked before but when i returned home he was the only dog with blood on him and the only dog that had been previously telling the pup off for getting 2 close, while the other girls played or accepted the pup.
even thow i didnt see it, it was obviously the male staff that killed and was interested in advise on how 2 act upon this.
neutering him is a small sacrifice for what he's done, i was aware that territory maybe an issue and was going to seperate them off before the male pup reached an age of sexual maturity but i cant believe this has happened? he was just a pup and the staff must have lost it which he's never done to his own pups or any other dog before?
please help....or give advise etc

I have had java moss in my tank for about six days, a few days ago i noticed some brown patches, now most of it is brown.. My tanks is currently cycling and is on its fifth day. I don't know why they are dying maybe it's because of the water..

The ammonia reads just below 1.0, nitrite 1.6 and nitate 12.5.

I also keep the light on at least 10 hours everynight and when i feed the fish some flakes get stuck in the moss but i doubt that is why they are dying...

As much as we love our pets, we allow{apatheticaly} the death or neglect of others. I wonder why this is.

The cows are young and not ready to milk. Their names
are Rosie, Clara, and Beth. I love Rosie the best and
give her more attention than the others. Do you think
someday when she is older she will produce spoiled
milk since I favor her?

She is 3 years old and more than half a year ago we moved into a new apartement.Since then she was scared to even step out into it.I think it is because of the fans on the ceilings. She loves tuna so we tried putting it out and she still refused to go.We even tried making her to get used to it by getting her out every evening for about one hour and closing the door so she won't escape, but she still doesn't want to go there, yet where I live it is very hot and she is long-haired so she needs to get out from time to time,it is too hot inside!

I just found out that my foster dog has tapeworm, round worm, AND hookworm. He was treated by vet yesterday everything else is fine..BUT I am worried about my other 2 dogs...The Vet said as long as my dogs are on Heartguard (it has some other worm preventative) and clean up his poop in yard, they should be fine...So my questin is how long will it take if my dogs caught any to showup? He's been here for 4 days...I am keeping an eye on my dogs poop (yuck)..Should I just deworm them anyway to be cautious? Thanks..
