We have two 3 year old cats who are just like kids to us, but we also have a 10 month old and all of a sudden the cats have started urinating in his crib!!! I'm assuming they are jealous or maybe they smell pee in there I'm not exactly sure why they are doing it. I have another baby on the way and we can not be having this. I'm wondering if anyone knows a way to try and put a stop to this without getting rid of them. I really love them to death and it would kill me to have to get rid of them.

I have been training my lab since she was 7 weeks old to be a waterfowl retriever. She does great on whistle commands when in close (less than 10ft) but does not immediately respond to the "sit" blast when working out away from me. I have to blast several times plus yell "SIT ! !" to get her to respond. When she responds she sits very well. I want her to react quicker. She can take hand commands such as back, left and right once she sits. She retrieves great, comes to heel great, delivers to hand and all but she is struggling with sitting on my command. She will STAY as long as I want her to also. This is frustrating me as it is hampering her training.

We live in Northeast Alabama and it sometimes gets below freezing here. We have a 13 year old black lab that lives outside. He sleeps in an insulated doghouse with plastic doors filled with blankets and hay. The doghouse is also under our carport. Is he staying warm enough or am I just worrying too much? I thought about those doggie warmer things from Petco but they seem so expensive and I really dont want anything that you plug up in a doghouse. If I fill up a gallon jug with hot water and put a lid on it will it help? Any other ideas?

We have a kitten we found in the cold and hungry. We brought it in and fed it and it has since made himself at home. The first 2 weeks he was fine, but then he began to get sluggish, loose stools just slipping out of him and he was covered in kaka and wouldn't clean. A friend said to change his food (he was eating adult food). I changed to Purina One Kitten formula and gave him and the other 2 cats de-wroming medicine. It took 2 weeks, but he got his vitality back and does a much better job cleaning himself, but the poo still just plops out. We're getting tired of accidentally stepping in the cold sludge or waing up in bead with crud on our bedding, pillows, hair, and body. Mind you, it's not lots at a time, just small blobs here and there, but it's still gross and unhealthy. Before I pay for a vet bill (or just take hm to the shelter--I don't wanna do that, but I have a 4 yr. old child) I'd like to find out if there's anything else I can try. He uses the box, just no slippage control.

I read rave reviews about this Nature's Miracle stuff, but it is ridiculously expensive.

My cat has been sick and hasnt eaten much in the past 4 and a half days, and I was wondering if it would hurt him to try to give him some tuna, just to fill him a little bit. I figured this might make him want to eat again, as fish is a kitty favorite! Please help! I dont want to make him more sick

Hello,

My dog has been diagnosed with Heart Murmur and the doctor also says that its a case of heart expansion. He should not get too excited because thats when he starts making those deadly noise which sounds like coughing. From the sound he makes it looks like stage 5 or 6.

I am really worried as yesterday night he went on with those noises for almost 3 hours and I almost didn't know what to do to calm him down except give him the daily dose of the medicine the vet recommended.

My dog is a 10 year old spitz.

Any one experienced in this issue, please provide me some inputs.

Please help! My St. Bernard, Jeff won't let me out of the house in the morning to go to work. I have to struggle to push past him, as he blocks me and leans on me and blocks the doorway. As soon as I put my coat on and get my keys, he starts. This only happens during the week when I go to work. If I go out on weekend mornings, not to work, he couldn't care less - no problem - but as soon as the new work week begins, there he goes again. Why does he act up only on work days but he doesn't care if I go on non workday mornings. Is it possible that he senses that I won't home as fast when I go to work?

My chihuahua has bitten my mom, my sister and now my brother. We've been having him for 6 years now. He's very attached to me, maybe its why he hasn't bitten me even if I act annoying. I know its wrong that he bites my family but he gets so annoyed if he's sleepy and we're bothering him.....not all the time but he has already bitten three times. He bit my brother today and I tried punishing by raising my voice at him and leaving him in the restroom with the light off for a while. My brother got in the restroom locked it and started beating him up. I was so mad I kept banging on the door....but got really mad at my brother. My sister says I just don't understand since he hasn't bitten me before. I mean I can imagine but he did made him bleed.....but not as getting stitches or anything.....I still know it was wrong for my dog to do that. But did my brother really have to do that? I saw how he puched him before he lquickly locked the door.

We have been giving our parakeets some mites and lice spray to help him, and it has been working...but he is still itching. There are a lot of bald spots on his body and there is no nasal or eye discharge. Is he sick, and does he need a vet?
