My dog woke up acting different this morning when i call him to me he can't walk to me in a straight line, his back legs are shaking and he constantly needs to lie down and he slips and can't seem to maybe balance himself. it is difficult to take him to a vet because he is very aggressive to other ppl. please i don't know what to do...

can we feel grief for an animal, does it go away. My home feels so empty without the cat, he was much loved by me and my friends. he had cancer in his gums and was 17 years. I stayed with him while he was put to sleep and brought him home and buried him inthe garden in the place he liked.

Anyone over 20 should remember back when all we had for our childhood pets was Purina puppy chow or other cheap stuff. All our dogs lived & were healthy & happy. Why isn't it good enough for our dogs now?

i have a 1 year old female indoor. just got a male kitten. she is hissing and growling at him. but the strange thing is she is also following him around everywhere watching him from a short distance. if she dosen't like him, why is she following him around? is this normal behavior and likely to go away? i got the kitten for her.

He is 5 months old and is the terror of the street, he eats our neighbours' cat's dinner and then our neighbours' dinner (we do feed him- he always has food available to him! ) He's been brought back from a couple of different houses when they have had enough. They all say they love him, but he's too much of a pest! He scares their cats! What can I suggest they do to keep him out- I worry that he'll come back one day with an air rifle pellet in him, or something, as he'll have annoyed someone one time too many!

How do you no if your cat has laringitis? How do you treat it the problem? Does it go away on it's own or do you need meds? the past 3 days my cats meow is raspy. Although the hissing & eating habits appear to be normal. No signs of sneezing or coughing. Any suddestions?

I have a 12 month old Toy Poodle. In the past, she has thrown up some foamy, yellow, liquidy thing that smelled like pee (not sure if she drank her pee since she is a HOUSE dog and maybe I wasn`t really paying attention. I passed the problem as that). As I predicted it stopped just a few weeks ago... But then just this morning at about 2:48 am I woke up and I found that my dog had thrown up on my bed. LIKE EVERYWHERE. But this time the vomit was stinky like poop, the texture LOOKED (I didn`t want to touch it) squishy and gooey, and it was brown (leaving my dog`s breath incredibly horrid). After I changed sheets she vomitted again!! Now since that time at 2:48 I've been DANG WORRIED... Maybe she DID eat some of her poop and pee? Or was it something bad to begin wih and only got worse? Maybe she had ate something that she wasn't supposed to? Or maybe this is just a mild sickness? I can't go to Vet right now or tomorrow since it's closed for veterens day. SOMEONE HELP PLEASE!

I am away in the days at work, and sleeping at night, so I cannot always "shoo" them off 24/7. I saw something called the "Scat Mat" online, but they are like $50+ which is expensive. Does anyone know where I can find cheap Scat Mats or good alternative?

My Yorkie sometimes poops blood and slime. I have taken him to the vet and he said to put him on lamb and rice food, he eats Science Diet lamb and rice. Last night I gave him one tiny cooked carrot left over from my dinner plate and he pooped blood and slime all night long. What causes this?

I think this is a silly habit for him. I tried recording the doorbell sound and play it back over and over, but he just keeps on barking at it. He even barks when he hears a doorbell ring on the television. In case you are wondering, my dog is a shelty and cocker spaniel mix and is 1 year old.
