Not that I'm a ware of. However you can as your Vet this question I'm sure he/she will be happy to give you some information. Another thing you can do to get that answer is look for books at your local library for information about dog ailments. I have dogs for a very long time and no matter what they have yet to chatch a cold from me...Best of luck

Most diseases are not Zoonotic( which means passable from animal to human or human to animal) There are a few that can be passed such as Lepto or even the plague, but these are highly contagious very noticable diseases. Dogs can not get the common cold from you the same way you can't get an upper respiratory infection from them.

Mine don't. Whenever I'm really sick & have to stay in bed, my dogs lay by me making sure Mom is ok. They have never had a cold or flu.

I have never heard of such a thing... I have a number of dog illness books, etc etc and it was never mentioned... They(the dogs) are lucky that human traits also do not rub off onto them such as being bitchy, lazy, and all of those other glorious traits

hehe, I asked my mom that same question about our cats when I was about 4. This is how she explained it to me (keep in mind I was 4 at the time!)

She said that people have triangle germs and kitties (or dogs) have square germs. Their germs cant make us sick and our germs cant make them sick.

Most human diseases don't cross to canines, so they (and YOU) will be fine.
