Does anybody own a Whippet or Greyhound. Preferably a Whippet but either one is cool. (Whippets are like miniature Greyhounds, but they're only cousins.) Well, does anybody???

I live with my fiance and we just adopted an adorable kitten about a month ago. He's really sweet, and I wouldn't say needy (he can play by himself) but he follows us to the bathroom, around the house, and can sometimes be a big pest when we're trying to do homework. We both work all day, so he's alone from around 7:30 to 5 or 6 M-F.

I feel sad leaving him by himself (hes about 4 months now), and sometimes he acts out when we finally do get home. We've been trying to stay home more, and do stay home a lot on the weekends.

I'm just afraid he might be jealous, it might get really crazy in our home, or they might not take to one another if I do adopt.

We have the means to take in another, so we'd really like to give one a home. I used to be allergic to cats, but I've been taking claritinD and have been doing much better. Would getting a second cat make my allergies worse?

What should we do? Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

My son (he's grown and on his own) brought his cat to the vet. Eye problems. The vet said the eye is ulcerated and gave him medication and an ointment. The cat will survive and she will not lose her eye. On the phone my son asked me if this will leave scarring on the eye. Our family cat (12 yrs old) has scarring on the eye since we rescued him. Do not know where it came from. Will my son's 1 yr old cat have scarring from this ulceration of the eye?

I have a white down comforter and happened to notice that after my cat has been snoozing on it for a while, when she gets up, she leaves these little tiny crust balls! Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

I don't know how or why my mom won't let me have a dog. She says we don't have enough room for a dog, and when i mentioned small dogs, she said they are ankle biters. I have done some research on this and i have found that this is NOT true. When I asked if we couldn't afford a dog, she said they are a waste of money (hello NOT true!) ..........a little help please? I'm kind of stuck...

I know horses and cows do. Is it because it would be hard for them to get up if there was a predator near by?

I'm moving out of state and can't bring my cats. I need to find a home for a female (11 years) and a male (9 years). I'm looking for names of no-skill shelters.

Thanks!

I am getting a new puppy on Thursday, and the breeder is training the puppy on a pad, but I have heard that training the dog to go outside is better. If I decide to start training the puppy to go outside will that mess up the training that she has given him because she said he goes pretty good on his training pad. How do I train him to go outside and not mess him up? or do I continue letting him use the pad?

I have a 14 week old Chihuahua puppy, his name is Elvis, and my husband and I have tried everything to get him potty trained, and nothing works. We leave a pee pad in his kennel while we are at work, and we leave one on the floor when we are home. Sometimes he'll use it, and we praise him for it, other times he will go on the rug beside of the pee pad. We take him out quite frequently, but he will not use it outside when it's cold or when it's raining. He runs back to the door and sits there. Please help!!

He's a black lab pup, 10 mos old. He has an obvious hip problem, constant diarrhea even with natural puppy formula food, and has low energy. His appetite is great, doesn't act ill, will play fetch and wrestle with my other dog but seems to tire easily. I want to get him treated but we can't pay a vet and I don't know what my other options are.

My pet turtle has some loose skin around his legs and neck. It floats in the water when he swims. Is this a sign of shedding or molting? He has been eating a lot lately.

She may be perfectly fine, but I think Ive scared myself my reading up/researching/preparing for adopting a cat an now im 'looking for it' BUT... she sneezes more than usual in one day, has very minor eye boogie now an then, and today sounds like she chokes/coughs a little. but i just thought its after she drank water to quick or something..... are these sypmtoms i should be afraid of? or is it not serious enough yet?
