Does anybody own a Whippet or Greyhound. Preferably a Whippet but either one is cool. (Whippets are like miniature Greyhounds, but they're only cousins.) Well, does anybody???

Currently 5 whippets on my sofa - 4 I own, the fifth a temporary guest. Did anyone warn you they are like potato chips - you can't have just one?

Just as another warning - if you look for a whippet in the US and you plan to do any dog sports, there are show families & preformance (running) families & those sucessful in both are few & far between

I currently own a retired racing greyhound who is the biggest couch potato on the face of this earth. They are both great dogs but I tend to lean toward the larger dogs, so greyhounds were the way to go for me.

My confirmation trainer has a ton of whippets, one named Seven one named Bristol. My friend has one name crazy Mazie who holds her ears like Boston Terrier. Are you looking to buy? The above person breeds and she was invited to the Eukanuba dog show with Bristol! But he recently broke his tail and she won't enter him now. They are cute little buggers.

Yup, I have 5 Whippets draped across my couch right now!

Do your research, they are not for everybody. A good place for info...
