I have a white down comforter and happened to notice that after my cat has been snoozing on it for a while, when she gets up, she leaves these little tiny crust balls! Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

if it looks like little bits of wrinkly rice, it is indeed tapeworm as the first person wrote.... my cat JUST went through this.

Simply jar up a few of the scaly bits, take them to your vet, and have them confirm. They will give you dewormers without you even having to bring the cat in. One dose, and a thorough cleaning of your house, and the whole thing is over and done with. I've attatched a website for more information.

Best of luck!

The first answer is completely wrong, ignore it.
Its dried skin.
Try changing the cat's food. Look into Innova EVO (the best in my opinion), California Natural, Felidae, Artemis, and Wellness.
Never feed Purina, Iams, or Science Diet. They are poison. Read "Foods Pets Die For" by Ann N. Martin for all the gruesome details, you will be shocked and amazed.

Tape worm, the worms crawl out of the cats butts while their host sleeps and dries up. When they dry it leaves little eggs that fleas eat, and when a cat or dog or even a human eat the fleas they in turn get tapeworm.
