You have to use bio-degradable litter and make sure that you age it properly. Cat waste is very acidic and if you don't allow it to age and drain, it will burn your garden and kill your plants. I would suggest you get a flush-able litter and dispose of it down the toilet, that way it is treated with other sewage and in many places ends up as compost out of the treatment plant.

i've got tried composting cat clutter and it would not seem to paintings very nicely. regardless of the shown fact that, it is mostly clay with little bits of cat poop. in case you like greater clay on your compost, then yeah, pass forward, in any different case merely the cat poop. i might advise staying far off from cat clutter which has addatives (fragrances, chemical components, and so on.).

I'm not sure about composting it but my ma uses it to get rid of bunnies and other critters when they eat her flowers. Just don't use the clumping kind (she put it inside some of her bricks around the yard and it rained and made a big mess- duh).

No. Cat litter is likely to have parasite eggs in it- and you don't want those in you.
