I HAVE A 21 WEEK PUPPY WITH PARVO AND THE VET GAVE US IVS TO GIVE 250ML EVERY SIX HOURS FOR 4 DAYS.......WELL THAT WAS OK WHEN SHE HAD NO ENERGY....NOW THAT SHES FEELING BETTER.....ITS SO HARD TO GIVE HER SHE WONT LET ME GIVE HER THE FULL 250 IN ONE SITTING .....WHAT ELSE CAN I DO.....HOW DO I KEEP HER CALM ENOUGH TO LET ME....I NEED AND WANT HER TO LIVE A LONG HEATHY LIFE.....SHE PART OF MY FAMILY.......AND HER SISTER DOESNT HAVE IT .....WHATS THE CHANCES OF HER NOT GETTING IT......PLZ ANYTHING WILL HELP

I have a min-pin, he has what they call thumb prints on his front legs, I would like to breed him at least one time with my female min-pin, does any one know if i breed him will the puppies have the thumb prints on them as well? I dont want to start up a bad breed i am interested in breeding to for the love of this kind of breed, hope some one can help thank you

I have a 10 gallon aquarium. I had fish in it for 1.5 weeks, but had to return them. I have had no fish for 3 days. My ammonia is at about 1.0mg/L and my nitrites are at about 3.0mg/L. I don't want my bacteria to die because there is no ammonia, but I know the water is toxic to fish. I tried to find pure ammonia, but all that I can find has fragrance. I don't know if I should put another fish in there, or just use like fish food or if I should use the ammonia with fragrance. What should I do, I'm at a loss.

I just bought a cerry crate for my one year old male cat. The crate it meant for animals below 10lbs. My cat weights about 8lbs.... He can turn around in the crate but he can't sit up or stand up... is it too small for him? I am only useing it to go one block around the courner to the Vets office. he will be in the crate for no longer than half an hour.

My sister just found a gross gigantic scab like thing on her chihuahua's neck. The dog's scab-like thing is about an inch long, and there was a tick attached. What kind of tick can cause this large amount of swelling? Should we worry about it, does he need a vet?

For the past week or so my 2 year old Pomeranian has been choosing to hide under the bed or under a table to sleep instead of curling up next to mama and sleeping. She has been moving around a lot during the night, too instead of sleeping the whole night through. I have heard her gnawing and scratching at herself so tonight I got up and turned over so her belly was facing up. She has some areas that look infected on her tummy and on her hind legs. They seem to have tiny speckly brown dots. I will, of course, be a good mommy and make a vet appointment in the morning, but until then...anyone have any experience with this? What could it be??? I am worried about my pup! :-(

Right now I have a well established tank with plastic plants. I'd like to make it a planted aquarium, but I think I'll need to take out the current gravel and put down a layer of Flourite in order for plants to do well. Also, I have an undergravel filter (in addition to an external filter) which should probably go as I've read that it upsets the CO2.

What should I do with my fish while I'm making these changes? Are they alright just staying in the tank or should I bag them and do something else with them? Thanks for your help!

okay i dont know why but my dog is limping and i checked his leg and in between his toes and found nothing wrong it is his front paw i dont know what the problem is and i asked my dad if we could take him to a vet and he wont he said that he will be better and it's been 4 days and nothing is better someone help me!does anyone have a clue to what it is?

We took her to the vet today and he did a warm water enema. Tonight I can barely get her to eat her stomach is so bloated. She goes to the bathroom a little and has gas when I wirk with her but she acts like it hurts her when I massage her. Any breeder out there that might be able to give me some tips
