i thought i heard a noise last night, had to put my cat asleep & heard a noise, my friend says maybe shes coming back to see how im doing, Im deepley scared of spirits, how should i feel? please answer me.

It is possible that your cat has a spirit and that it is returning to the place it felt most comfortable. It is equally possible that your cat moved on and you are hyper sensitive to noise because of your own fear.
If you are afraid of spirits then you must have had some run ins with them before. So why ask if that is possible? You all ready believe that it is.
If this is true and logically it has to be why would your cats spirit, assuming that's what's going on, be there to hurt you or scare you? If there is a reason, apologize and then relax. If there isn't a reason for her to be mad at you then why would she?
Try taking some deep breathes when you get into bed and say goodnight to her. If she is there and is seeking comfort your comfort will give that to her. Leave a light on if you can sleep with it and it makes you more comfortable. Chamomile tea or bedtime tea can take the edge off for a few days. if all that fails get a relaxation tape or cd. If all this fails you need help.
Above all relax. Fear tends to draw the fearful.

When my cat, Dixie died - I thoroughly cleaned the apartment of all litter. Except one day where ever I walked there was litter here and there. Also, someone kept poking me in the back at night and there was no one there. I do believe they keep an eye on you where ever they are, and kitty spirits are the best. Here it is 3 yrs later and I have her keep an eye on my current cat, Angel until I get home from work. And it works!

There aren't two different kinds of existence on the earth. If human beings need spirits to be living souls, then so do cats. I'm fairly sure that your cat did everything that God expected of her, so I'm also fairly sure that she is in Paradise with your mother awaiting the resurrection. I shouldn't have to point this out, but the Bible indicates the presence of animals and plants in heaven.

Whatever you belive to be true about your cats returning is your belif, your mind could be playing its own tricks on you and taking a small sound out of porportion. Either way Spirits and Ghosts are all up to you, nothing cant hurt you either so dotn be scared, and be happy your pet is in an even better place.

I think your friend could be right. It is nothing to fear. I do feel my Spookie came back three times after he was euthanized. I definitely felt his presence in the doorway to the patio where he would always wait for an hour or so before dinnertime every evening. It only happen three times and there has been no feeling of his presence since then.

What you are really asking is, do cats live on after they die in some form. Depending on your belief system, the general answer is no. We however are different. This is evident in that we actually think of the afterlife, we aspire to live forever (it is in our consciousness), generally speaking, cats do not do this. I have never actually heard of an animal coming back to haunt another person either (but we often hear of Human's supposedly coming back in one form or another to communicate with the living). So you have nothing to fear.

yes they do come back spirit.but if are afraid it will get blocked.my cat passed away 3 yrs ago.age 18..2 yrs after she woke me at 4.00 am.i heard her cry 3 times.i seen her a few times but only for a second.she always been by my side since she was a kitten.

Yes, cats have souls just as we do and sometimes they do come back whether we know it or not.
Don't be afraid. Your cat won't hurt you. She's just checking on you. Tell her your alright and she should go where she is supposed to, then you'll see her at the Rainbow Bridge to Heaven.

Yes. All things that live has a spirit, which goes back to God who gave it.
I KNOW several former pets are waiting for me beyond this life and I will see them again.
