Jade is about three years old, but my mother never taught her to play fetch properly. The dog just keeps the stone in her mouth, and if you throw another stone, she will keep that in her mouth as well, and it continues until she can't hold anymore... a while ago I tried giving her a treat every time she brought the stone back, but as soon as I stopped giving her the treats, she went back to her old ways...

Are there any tricks I can use to get the dog into playing fetch? I'm worried that she will never know how to play it properly because she didn't learn when she was young.

My small dauschaund is my best friend. We do everything together. I want him to be happy with his life and I want to do what is necessary for him to be fulfilled. Perhaps just loving him is not enough. Are there any suggestions for this?

A lady I met says that my cat is of a specific breed. I just thought I had a normal Hines 57 cat. She couldn't recall the name of the breed. So that made me curious to find out what breed Mr. Bojangles is... I've looked at a few websites but he's not listed on there. Does anyone know of a good website that has MANY breeds of different cats? Thanks :-)

I did not set up my yard as a grocery store for predator birds. I enjoy nature as much as anybody, but the sight of one animal eating another is not my idea of fun. I am not going to embrace the bird and respect his rights. So I guess shooting it is the next best thing. Next for the suggestion.

I thought I heard that you could but I want to make sure it doesn't hurt my cats. They never go in the attic but will the smell affect humans or other pets?

Our dog's regular diet is confined to dog food, but for training we like to use people food. Does anyone know where I can find a list of foods that are bad for dogs? I don't want to feed him anything that will hurt him. (P.S. I know chocolate is bad.)

My vet prescribed for my cat half tablet of acepromazine 10 mg before travelling because my cat will be travelling 4 hours in the car and then 6 hours later with me in the cabin on an international flight to Europe. What should I expect? I do not want to see my cat heavily sedated but still want to give her relief from the terrible nausea she suffers in the car.

We have a lot of bird feeders and apparently have attracted a hawk. He has killed a bird in the yard and now he is scaring off all the other birds. What can I do to get rid of him whithout all the other birds leaving. I would like to but know I cannot kill him, protected.

The reason I ask is that I've never seen any questions about looking after them. Guess I'm the only one? My master is good to me and even let's me use his PC to post this question to you all. However it's a bit sore on the feet, think he will need to buy me socks.

My bunny suddenly freaked! It got all of its chaff and now wonders around without doing anything. It won't even drink water! Please help. If you know what's wrong please tell me. It's really weird that it just did this for the first time and won't stop carrying the hay anywhere it goes.
