I've done the research and have decided to add aquarium salt to my goldfish tank since one of my fish has tail rot (I think) and I want to try & make sure the others don't get it.

I'm going to add 1 teaspoon per 5 gallons of water by mixing the salt in a cup of the water from the tank.

My question is, is it safe to pour the salt water in the tank while the fish are in there? Or should I remove them, wash the tank over, & then do it? Is all of that neccessary?

I have a 110 pound Bloodhound that won't stop pulling when I walk him. I have tried the chokers, harness, dog classes...nothing works. HELP! He also barks at any dog that comes near him and pulls even more.

I'm sure most answerers will have to guess, but this is a serious question. I want to buy some nuts to put out for the squirrels, I've discovered thus far that they like peanuts and they don't like walnuts.

I'd like to get the their favorite nuts or favorite food.

My chihuahua has a habit of chiting on the floor without advising me that he needs to use the bathroom. He does this once and a while but when he does this he gets me mad. He knows he has to go outside, why does he think he can use the bathroom in the house? I do take him outside and he uses it outside but sometimes he just seem to not ask. Help please!

Recently, within the past two weeks, our dog has developed some strange habits. First, he suddenly wants to sleep on our pillows, in the space between the tops of our heads and the headboard. Previously, he was content to sleep on our feet or his doggie bed. He moves when we tell him to, but why now?

Also, he has started barking at things that are out of place, new, or things he apparently didn't notice before. He advances on the thing, barking at it, and then jumps back when he gets close, then he advances again. He's obviously exhibiting fear, and I'm hesitant to scold him because I'm concerned that it will make him even more timid.

Both of these behaviors are relatively new, as I said. Nothing has changed in his environment, routine, or food.

Is he just nuts?

The company I work for has pet canaries. 2 males and a female. The female was suffering from loss of feathers around her neck and ead. The vet told us that it was because she was in a cage with 2 males and it was stressing her out. So they put her in a separate cage. However she has not got any better after 4 weeks. Someone suggested that it was because she was in a round cage and they don't like that... any suggestions about the loss of feathers or this comment about round cages??

My pet rock has been hanging out with a bunch of other rocks nextdoor there r 3 girls and 5 boys and all she does is talk about hanging out with them having parties and going on dates with the youngest rock i mean she wants them to live with her how do i make her change her mind and worse of all shes teaching her friends how to sneak into our house and how to brake in i mean shes becoming out of control she wont listen and when she comes back from mudding with her friend si tell her to take a bath and then go to bed but she mouths off and curses and then just goes to her room and listens to rock music i cant get her to listen to me HELP!!!!!

Too many rock concerts? He's having flashbacks to the '70s. He's been talking to his poster of Pebbles Flinstone for the last three hours nonstop. He's calling me Wilma instead of Mom! He wont stop munching on his rock candy and pop rocks!

The horse that I ride is really scared to go in the opposite direction of the others, even when we're in an open field and we're pointed towards another horse, she won't go, how can I make her more confident. I would say I'm a confident rider, and she knows that, but she never seemd to trust herself? Do you have any ideas?

I have been in the goat business for two years and recently our funding for the goats has ended and we are sadly having to sell them all.
I have already sold four and the remaining three does are spoken for, but the billy goat, I have no idea what to ask for it.
He is 1 1/2 yrs old and has fathered 1 kid and studded 7 does this summer. His mother was registered nubian and his dad was registered boer. He is white with a brown head, a black mane down his neck and a brown saddle marking on his back. He is very gentle, I bottle fed him from two months old when we bought him.
Any ideas on what a good price would be would be helpful, I don't believe in taking animals to the sale barn auctions, I have seen so many mistreated there, and with so many animals there you never know what diseases they carry.

I'm not sure about what I would like to get. Dogs need alot of care and I want to be there to love them. But I work two jobs. I just want to have some company. I was thinking about getting some fish, but they can be boring. I had to give my dog and cat to my parents because I didn't have time to care for them properly and I want them to know they're loved. I've never been without a pet. Any ideas?
