I have a 110 pound Bloodhound that won't stop pulling when I walk him. I have tried the chokers, harness, dog classes...nothing works. HELP! He also barks at any dog that comes near him and pulls even more.

Get a behavioral trainer to teach you how to walk the dog and show you the proper correction for him when he pulls.
Putting a harness on a dog allows him to pull harder than with a collar.
It is not a quick fix you will have to work at it and put in time training. But with some patience and practice your pet will get the idea and will be easier to walk.
I strongly recommend either another class or one on one work with a trainer.

I once had an elderly lady for a friend. She had a wonderful little dog. A mix of some sort. She had the dog trained well and it behaved very well. Learn here https://tr.im/MXChN

She kept an uncovered candy dish on her coffee table with candy in it. The dog was forbidden to eat the candy. When she was in the room observing the dog he did not even appear to notice the candy. One day while she was in her dinning room she happened to look in a mirror and could see her dog in the living room. He did not know he was being watched. For several minutes he was sitting in front of the candy bowl staring at the candy. Finally he reached in and took one. He placed it on the table and stared at it, he woofed at it. He stared some more, licked his chops and PUT IT BACK in the bowl and walked away. Did he want the candy, oh yeah. Did he eat it? Nope. They can be trained that well but most, I'll admit, are not trained that well. When I was a young boy, maybe 5 years old. We had a german shepherd. He was very well trained also. My mom could leave food unattended on the table, no problem. She would open the oven door and set a pan roast beef or roast chicken on the door to cool. No problem. He would not touch it, watched or not. But butter? Whole other story. You leave a stick of butter anywhere he could reach and it was gone. He was a large shepherd so there were not many places he could not reach. Really, I think the number of dogs trained to the point they will leave food alone when not being supervised is very small indeed.
.
Now if we are talking obedience training, not food grubbing, that is a different story. Way back when I was first learning obedience training one of the final exercises was to put our dogs in a down/stay and not only leave the room but leave the building for 15 minutes. The only person that stayed was our trainer, not the owners. Most of the dogs in my class did not break their stay, which would be an automatic fail. I'm happy to report my dog was one of the ones that passed.

Go to "the Dog Psychology Center" web site. That's the Dog Whisperer.

use the chocker and when hes on the leash keep him near you and have the chocker at the top of head ( base of the skull) this area is more senative so it pinches more when he pulls. when he barks at other dogs, have him sit and look at you reward him for paying no attention to the other dog. call his name to get his attenion hes suppose to look to you for instuction anyway, when the dog leaves and hes done a good job, slip him a treat and pet him telling him how wonderful he is.

If i were you i would go to pet's mart and buy a dog halter. Don't worry it won't hurt him unless he wants it to. what i mean is the halter works the same way as a horse halter. when a dog or any animal walks or runs they follow their head. Now he can choose not to listin to you and not follow his head but he will eventually figure out that it's easier to walk next to you oinstead of having the halter pull his head around. When you but the halter some have dvd's that come with them. i would suggest watching it befor you put the halter on him so that you know t he corret way to put it on and use it. When you put the halter on him the fastest way to get them used to ity is to take him out ot your backyard or big oppen space and put him on long lead i would go with about 20 feet. pput the lead on his collar and then put the halter on but don't make it really tight yet just make it tight enough that it won't come off. and Let him get used to it. he most likely throw a huge fit and start bucking like a horse and trying to get the halter off. Just let him go unless he going to hurt himslef. once he clams down take it off and reward hi m give him treats and play with him. Then after about 5 or10 minitutes oput the halter back on him he might throw antoher fit but just let him go. after he clams down agian attach a shorter leash to the halter and lead him around a little bit if he pulls back let him and as soon as he stops pulling give him a treat. only work on this for about 10 or 20 minites and then stop and go back home. When your at home you can put the halter back on him and let him walk around the house or fenced in yard with the leash dragging on the ground every once in a while he will step on the leash and stop himslef so in theory he teching himslef to walk with the halter. DO NOT FOR ANY REASON LEAVE THE HALTER ON HIM WHEN YOU AREN'T THERE TO WATCH HIM. Because if he gets stuck on someting it could seriosley hurt him. eventually you wil be able to walk him withoutu the halter on him. but it takes a while. Good luck and don't give up on him if you have any quetions on this e-mail me at strawberryhillkennels @yahoo.com and i'll be happy to help.

Try obdience classes again. Pay more attention to the trainer. I haven't known a trainer yet that did not address this issue. they teach you how to train your dog but it is up to you to do the training.
