How can I handle this?

How did this happen? How did he get soapy if he is afraid of water? Why would you do that to him? He has feelings too, even if he is a rock.
You have no choice, you are going to sneak up on him. You are going to have a bowl of warm water ready. Quickly (but gently) rinse him off. Dry him with a soft towel.
Never mind how you are going to handle it, just do it for him. Your relationship will never be the same with Peter because you caused him this trauma in his little hard life.
It is nothing for you to be proud of.................................

Take a moist towelet and rub it on Peter. If he is still scared and doesn't want the moist towelet, take a regular cloth and rub off the soap. Talk caml to him and say that water is ok and it wont hurt you a bit. Soon, Peter will be back to normal.

Dry Peter of with a special rock towel designed just for pet rocks. I think you can get that rock towel in Never Land. Or dry him off with hay, but peter will be itchy. :/

ROTFLMAO!!!! put a bucket under your bathtub faucet thingie. put boiling hot water to the top of the bucket. cover him up with a dark shirt and drop him in. let him drown. dilemna solved. he he
