I believe my cat is killing them...this is her first litter...I think she was eating one of them when I came back to check while at work...She had 4 kittens this morning or sometime last night...3 were alive and 1 was dead; I put it in the trash outside. I left her nursing three kittens in the basket that were alive and well, and even with all the blood, she seemed to be doing ok...I didn't know that she wasn't finished! About 2 pm, I returned home to check on her only to find that not only did she have 2 more kittens, but one of the first 3 kittens in the basket was dead and partly eaten...one of the second 2 was lying dead by her litter box and the other one was loudly meowing 5 feet away in the corner of the room. I removed the 2 dead kittens and put the alive one back in the basket with the alive two remaining. I was afraid to let my cat stay with them when I had to go back to work. I locked my cat in the computer room away from the kittens until I got home...What's happening?

Yesterday I dropped a bunch of cornflakes on my kitchen floor and my two beagles, 6 months and 10 months ate them before I could even bend to pick them up. They never beg for food but they kept begging when I had the box in my hand. Is it safe to give them cornflakes as a treat every now and then?

I just got this adult female scotish fold cat yesterday. Her stumach was a little big and the person said they found her in the bushes, she was perfectly fine yesterday, but now, I can hear her meowing everywhere and she wont come out of my closet! She's throwing up and somthing is so terribly wrong!! She wont eat or drink, and my vet is busy, please tell what is wrong and what should i do?!?

I just had a clutch of 11 eggs hatch and all but 2 were female. Someone at a pet store told me that she heard temperature during incubation affects the sex of the corn snakes. That doesn't seem possible to me and I've never heard this before. Just wondering if anyone else knows anything factual about this topic.

and I was told to put a lid with holes over the opening of my bowl. I got a cork coaster about a millimeter thick and drilled about 10 holes in it. My only question is, is that coaster heavy enough to keep the fish in the bowl?

My dog ran into the woods and he hasnt been back for about a day. Ive been searching everywhere. I dont know where to look. I could go around the neighborhood and put up fliers, but its not a big neighborhood and i dont think anyone would pick him up, even though he is very cute. What should i do to find him?

My mom and i have been living with her boyfriend for 2 years. In the past he has hit me my mom and my animals. He takes out his anger with us on them most of the time. Last night my mom called me at about 2 am and told me that her faveorite dog was dead. Then she said Art killed him. The dog has no plainly visible marks but he has long hair and i couldnt move his body or look around too much so im not sure he could be shot with a bb. My mom called the cops last night when she got home and saw her dog dead. She told them Art killed the dog. The police did not investigate the dog- did not touch him all they did was glance at him from across the room. The police questioned my mom and Art and that was that they left and did nothing about it. My mom also told the cops about another murder that happened earlier that week. My cat had to be put to sleep because she had a fractured jaw bone to bad to be fixed and a broken cheek bone. Again there is no proof really except Arts past... (con't..)

i had a golden retriever when i was 13. she was the sweetest dog. she ran all over the neighborhood with me. she died. i had a black lab who just died a few months ago. he was the best dog ever. his name was Barnabas. he was with me for a long time. he was 12 yrs old. he was very smart. he was a bird dog. he loved to go hunting, fishing, swiming, and crawfishing. he was well behaved, minded better than the kids. i loved that dog. i miss him so much.
