Our purebred Amstaff had a litter of 10, all came out with black noses except for one that is tan. The others were blues and blacks. I have been assured both the mother, father and grandparents are purebred and seen some papers, but it has been questioned now that this tan pup looks similar to a rednose pitt bull. (I dont see it, but others have said it) I am confused about the whole thing and want to be 100% sure there is no pittbull in what I think are pure amstaffs. Any advice???

My dog HATES to be brushed, but she's shedding like CRAZY and itching all over. I used to be a dog groomer's assistant, and we used undercoat remover brushes on bigger, woolier dogs, but never the small ones. Does anyone have experience with Poms? I don't want another shedding summer!!

and 2 of them uses the litter box and the smallest one out of the 3 doesn't. She seems to have found her own place...like on my brand new 3 month old living room furniture. I can't get rid of her cause she is for my middle son. I gave each of my kids a kitten so it wouldn't be fair if I got rid of her. Can anyone tell me how to make her go in the litter box? Thanks

I saw a family of kittens and the mother is a real sexual cat. i was just thinking out of the blue that maybe if she never finds a mate she would mate with one of her male offspring. Is this possible? Do animals commit incest? If so are their offspring messed up like humans?

We recently adopted a senior cat from a local shelter. He is a great cat but we have problems with his scratching and we really want to get him declawed. Trimming the claws is not enough.

Has anyone ever heard of this dog, "leather Ear Banner"? He is a Treeing Walker Coonhound and was some grand champion of coonhounds.

We recently moved to a new house and our German Shepard who has always been a digger has now started to pull up the lawn with is mouth. He acts like he smells something and roots around a little bit and then just bites and pulls. Has anyone ever encounted this problem and if so how do we get it to stop?

Thanks.

I would like to know how can I tell if a horse has foundered in the past ?
If a horse has founder or laminitis, does the rotation of the coffin bone start right away or is there a time span before it does happen? Please I need to know the time span?

I have two cats. One of them is quiet and content, the other one is driving me nuts. I know cats meow when they are hungry/thirsty, lonely, bored, sick or in pain, and wanting attention. My cats always have food and water. The litter box gets cleaned regularly. I show her attention. My kids play with her. She has been to the vet recently with a clean bill of health. But, she meows almost constantly. I don't know what to do. I have to sleep with ear plugs in.

Any ideas or suggestions?

I have had turtles and a Chinese water dragon for pets. Sherman (female) lived to be about 5 years old and grew to 28" (mostly tail). I am ready to try another reptile but haven't quite decided on what to get. I have always loved bearded dragons because of their personality. I have also heard good and bad things about adult iguanas...some seem to be good pets but have also heard horror stories (especially about bites and wounds from their tails). I would like to let my new pet free roam, but maybe not because I also have 2 cats. My cats got along fine with Sherman, who had free roam and stayed mostly in her tree or on her favorite shelf when she wasn't in her cage. I am fairly knowledgable about the proper care of reptiles. I think now it's just a personality thing of the reptile I choose. Any thoughts on which I should choose?

My 1 year old pit bull in the past hour has had lumps start to appear all over is left side of his body and his hine leg. There are a few on the right side. I didn't give him any new food, he's had fresh water through out the day and has been kept in the a/c house for most of the day. They are different sizes. At first thought they were moscitto bites but he's has protection for that which was put on last week. Any ideas?
