Ok, I know he needs to go to the vet..will do first thing in the a.m. It's more like shivering than "seizure" shaking. Just trying to see if anyone had a medical disease/term that may let me know what's going on with him before we go to the vet in the a.m.

shaking can also be a pain response. Is he having difficulty with his rear legs? Possibly a back injury. Either way, it needs to be called into your emergency vet service.

Sounds much like a seizure. Have you put any flea and tick control on it? Some dogs have bad reactions to this stuff and it does something to the nervous system. If it has a flea collar take it off. Have you gave a bath in flea and tick shampoo? some of this will do it also. Get the dog to the vet immediately. Whatever is going on with your dog is a definate problem. He needs medical attention now. There has been several incidences where hartz flea and tick preventive has killed some pets.

Take him to the vet. Shaking is normal for some dogs (like chihuahuas) but if this is not normal for him then it indicates that there is something wrong. The stumbling is also fairly alarming. Please get your pooch to a vet.
