I found a white scorpion around my house, I live in Northeast Ohio, Can anyone tell me about these, what are they called?

I believe they are albino scorpions (a genetic
defect) and they are very rare. Almost every
species of mammals can produce albino
offspring!

Scorpions in ohio,huh. Call a state university and find out about them, you never know. You might have found something rare. I've only seen white scorpions on Discovery and Animal planet, and I think they were in Carlsbad Caverns-- it was some cave. The only other ones I've seen were black and in the desert.

possibly that scorion is a baby, baby scorpions are white.normaly it would be on its moms back but the mom could have been attacked and left a baby while running away

Yes there albinos.They need different care than regular scorpions, if you keep one as a pet.

There are many kinds of them.
They like the dark.
Some are blind.
