I have a front yard are that has wood chips as decor. There is a neibhor hood cat that uses it for going to the restoom. I thought maybe I could sprinkle pepper or some kind of herb that would make the cat not want to come to my yard. Any advice??

I have scoured the net looking for info on this, but have had no luck. I want to keep one whitetail deer as a pet. Are there any permits that I need to get before I consider buying one from a breeder?

I plan on crate training my puppy, but instead of a crate I will use a confined room with 'potty pads' - because I will be away at work for too long to crate train a young puppy. I work 7am-12pm, home for one hour lunch, then back to work until 4pm.

Anyway once the dog is older and has no accidents at all, should I then let him have the run of the house when I'm away or would it be best to stick with his confined room? Basically what I'm asking is, should crate training/confined area be temporary just for puppies, or a long term thing?

I have two beautiful Bichons, they are my babies. They sleep with me...I sleep in the nude. While I'm undressing they stare at me.

do you think they know I'm naked? What's going through their mind?

*Please don't get gross ideas. They sleep at one end of the bed and I sleep on the other.

Thanks :0)

I've heard that tuna can cause cats to bleed internally and that cats can become addicted to tuna. Are either of these assertions true?

Vet says she is just senile--she acts fine otherwise, but is eating next to nothing. She also has a meow that sounds like a sore throat. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't want her to suffer, but she still seems vital and attentive. ALLhelp appreciated.

A pet you've had for 20 years is like family.

His eye just hangs there on the side of his head, and the other fish won't socialize with him now. I'ld like to get his eye back in before he gets depressed.

Explain why and if you have dogs or cats, give their breeds and names. This is just for fun people!

The kittens are approx. 5 wks old & the mom doesn't appear to be starting the weaning process(at all). While she was eating on one side of the house, I fed the kittens some special kitten food. They loved it, but she finished before they did and when she saw what was going on, she started trying to eat the food. When I picked her up to take her out of the room so they could finish, she started hissing and growling and tried to bite me(viciously!).She's never done this to me.I'm the one she followed around while in labor, to make certain I would be there with her to help her if needed. Is this normal behavior? How do I handle this and still continue to wean them from her?

We are taking care of a friends dog and she is pregnant. She is breathing heavily, panting a lot, gets uncoftrable, wants a lot of attention, has mucus coming out of her volva, and licks herself a lot.
