Ferel cats and cats that people leave behind when they move; droping them off on highways and leaving them to die; hurting them so that they won't survive.

It's been like three weeks since I first found out that she's pregnant and I've been reading about it and some websites told me about them aborting. Could it be that she's just not ready to give birth yet. I am sure that she's pregnant and she still has that dark black spot.

Serious answers only Please!!!!!
My Beagle is 13 mos. old and she has had feeding/eating "issues" since we have had her. She absolutely hates any and all commercial dog foods. No matter what I try to do to jazz it up and make it more tasty, she snubs it. She is even picky about people food. I could set a big juicy steak in front of her and there is a better than 80% chance she would turn her little nose up at it. I've never seen a dog like this, all the other dogs I've had were always ravenous., doesn't like any of the usual dog treats either, except for the occassional MILKBONE biscuit. We have even tried the holding out til she got hungry enuf with the dog food, didn't work, thought she was gonna starve! There is no rhyme or reason! She is perfectly healthy, we were just at the vets a couple weeks ago. Anyone have any ideas or advice? NOTE: this is not 1 of those situations that has been caused by dog owners:) We have tried everything we know to get her to eat a good quality dog food

I feed my 3 cats EACH 1 cup of food a day. The vey reccomended that I do so, 1/2 cup for each in the morning and 1/2 cup in the evening. The vet has told us TWICE to keep them on this feeding schedule, esp because one cat is overweight. Recently, it seems their appetite has increased and they finish off their portions very quickly. After that they follow me around and beg for food. I don't know what to do because I feel sorry for them, but I want to do what the vet told me to. What should I do?!

Well it looks like I have to get rid of my kitten. My fiance is toooooo allergic. I dont want to just give her away b/c I spent too much money on the stuff I bought her (big bed, kennel, toys, etc..) Should I place a add in the paper, or is there a place I can go? I'm not too attatched to her yet, better now than later.

We have two boys, 6 and 9 yrs old, who would like a pet. What type of animals do you recommend and why? We have a small yard and live in San Antonio, TX, if you think climate would have something to do with your choice.

I'm moving into an apartment that only allows dogs 20lbs and under fully grown. I've only had large dogs and am not familiar with which breeds would even be under that weight, and which have good temperments. I'm also not too into "high maintenance" dogs (the kinds people seem tempted to put bows on and dress up). Any suggestions?
