TAKE YOUR DOG TO THE VET IMMEDIATLEY IF YOU THINK YOUR DOG ATE RAT POISON. Your dog nees activated charcoal admistered by your vet to absorb the posions in his stomach and intestines. If you don't your dog could die!

TAKE IT TO THE VET. if you think it has eaten something like rat poison, or the fact that it is throwing up is concern enough especially with puppies. There is one other thing that I know of that could cause it to throw up. If it has been eating a lot of rawhides lately, that clogs up the digestive system so take away all of it's rawhides for a while and it should be all right.

If your only evidence of poison is the throwing up and he threw up plastic he may have part of the plastic still in his gut causing a blockage. Either way he need to see a vet to have any chance at all.

Most rat poisons cause internal bleeding, as they destroy the body's clotting ability. If your puppy ate rat poison today a vet might be able to help him today. If you wait, the chances are much worse. When you say "he has been throwing up a lot lately" that could mean a lot of things. Either way, it is abnormal. Please take him to a vet. And please remove any poisons from his environment!

Take it to the vet immediately. 7 weeks old is prone to parvo. If it has runny, bloody stools it probably is parvo. You can also call the poison control center if it ate rat poison(800) 222-1222

Please take yer pet to the vet immediatly! Y even waste time asking people on here? Yer pup could be very sick and you need to just take him to the vet. There should be an emegency vet place open late if needed. Hope he's Ok though, good luck.
