i am about to get a new puppy!! it might be a golden retriever or a lab!! But what should i name it???

We had a red-haired golden retriever, and we named her Penny, because she was such a pretty copper color.

If you get a black lab, Ebony would be nice. I've also always liked the name Charlie, and you could use that no matter what color or sex it is.

I work in a vet's office, and we see so many animals named Katie, Chloe, or Sadie. I'd stay away from those three, they aren't very original anymore.

Popular male names that aren't too over-used yet are Bo, Harley, Duke, Rex, and Cody.

A good name for a lab is Buddy-never had 1 but I hear they're loyal. My daughter has 2 G.R.'s male; Golden Thunder, female Blonde Ambition

Casey - Ever since I saw the add with the little girl and the pup and it progresses to when the girl is an adult and the dog is getting on in years and struggles up the steps...I have wanted to get a golder retriever and name her Casey...

i've had a yellow lab for 10 years and her name is K.C.
i've also had a golden lab for 14 years her name was abigail but for short, we called her abbs

Sunni; Bedahbeen (means "New Dawn" or "New Beginning" in Ojibwe); Goldie; Chiquita (means "Little Girl" in Spanish; and yes it's also the name of a brand of banana which is considered "golden")
