My cat Macy just had kittens and they are like a week and a day old right now I was just wondering when they start to open their eyes?

7-12 days, usually. But they don't see well for a week or so afterwards. Congrats on being a grandmother, and good luck to you all! Get Macy spayed soon, OK?

They generally open their eyes between two and three weeks. When they first open their eyes are a beautiful blue colour but they will change to normal cat green/yellow around 6-8 weeks.

9-12 days from birth.Usually 10 days is normal.Weaned at 6 weeks usually.

The eyes can open anywhere from 8-14 days .The eyes are normally blue for a few days until they change into their normal color.

Anytime now up to three weeks (I think). I can't remember exactly -- but I know that at this point the look like "little bears.

if i'm not mistaken, about 2 or 3 weeks. it looks cute cause one eye opens and it looks like they are winking at you.

I think it takes between 3 to 5 weeks for kittens to open their eyes. My two cats (sisters) had their eyes open at 5 to 6 weeks when I adopted them. (moxie and sammi)

they should be opening by the time they are 10 days old , I raises cats myself
