Pets - 12 June 2006

I have horrible neighbors (3rd floor apartment) who insist their four cats live outdoors. My problem is that their cats have found a nice seat in my flower box! I don't want to hurt the kitties (it's not their fault), but want to keep them out of my flowers. Any other ideas would be wonderful! Neither the ASPCA nor the management company so far have done anything as we have complained. Thanks!

My four year old black lab is laying on the floor wincing. He doesn't seem to be in pain, but his belly is bloated. I took him outside and he wouldn't chase his ball which is not normal. He had some trouble going up and down stairs tonight....he has lime disease, but we caught it early so it shouldn't be a factor...he has farted a few times and it is really stinky, but I keep taking him outside and he won't do his business. Any thoughts?

Yesturday while out on a ride my stallion noticed another stallion in the field and started "neighing" and getting excited. He then uncontrolably galloped towards this other horse, jumped the fence to get to the stallion in the field and then bit him viciously. My horse is a dream horse and this is the only oproblem I have but it means I'm scared to take him to shows and on rides where I kbnow other horses will be!!!!!!!! please help me!!! (N.B. I have another horse which my stallion is never so vicious with)!!!!

I need help with my nephew Billy’s Cockatoo Bird. This is not a joke. Peaches started to eat his body. My sister Lauren took the bird to the Vet, and they gave the bird sedatives to calm him down, however I saw the bird today and it is getting worse. The only recent change in the household is they bought two little birds a month ago the birds are in a different room in the house, they chirp all day long, and also my Father their Grand Father also died in the house a month ago. I feel bad for the children but I don’t think Peaches looks so good. She is mutilating his body. Any answers greatly appreciated.

My best friend says that her friend's dog is a silky terrier, and says that it's almost all white, it's about 8 months old. I believe that the "so-called" silky terrier is really a white west-highland terrier. Please help me settle this confusing question!

i found this kitty on the street and my mom and dad said i can keep him hes only 3 weeks old and i give him kitty milk and hes fine but he just wont poop and i called the vet and they said to bring him in as soon as possible and i told my dad and he said hes not gonna take him if he doesnt go he can get really sick what should i do?
