I have two puppies. One is a Chihuahua. The other is a Mutt.
Everytime they get excited or when we come home; They pee, dribble.

Is this Normal? Why does this happen?

The teacher is great but the horse (who I adore) is a bit old and really should be retired. But because it's not my place to tell them how to run their business, is there anything that I can do to reassure my pal that when I put the saddle on him, I will not be rough the way that others probably have been which is why he nips and fusses a lot while I do it. The other day while my instructor was adjusting the girth, he nipped me. Of course I didn't take it personal but is there anything I can do to help calm him such as give a carrot, pet him, anything? Hitting is NOT an option. Nothing cruel-ever so any tips would be greatly appreciated. He is fine when I ride him but I would love it if he weren't so uncomfortable. Damn the others who have not been nice to him! Fast responses as my lesson is in 2 hours!!! :)

*Keep in mind, i'm not judging anyone. This is just a question.*
~Scenario~
Allowing your animal (more specifically a cat) to roam free outside without a leash/harness, (to keep it within the yard). Should this be considered a form of animal cruelty/endangerment???

Keeping in mind the risks of being hit by a car, being hurt/killed by another animal, pesticides/chemicals on lawns, driveways & in pools/ponds etc, possibly picking up a disease (which could result in huge vet bills or euthanasia) Or simply getting lost and never returning home (it does happen).

Should this be considered animal cruelty???
Please give your answer as detailed as possible.......I know where i stand on this subject, I just want to see if others feel the same as I do!!!

****Again, please keep in mind that i am in no way judging anyone.....this is just a question****

I have two rabbits, I am not sure what sex they are, or how to tell since everyting is covered in fur. Also how long is the rabbits gestation period, and at what age do they start having babies? One is quite a bit bigger than the other and eats a lot more. Please help.

My dog is and Austrailian Shepherd, and is about 3 years old. He never settles down and is ALWAYS wanting to play. I don't have a lot of time to play with him as much as he wants me to, but I still play with him a lot. What should I do?

My neighbor recently took in a stray kitten. I would place it at being maybe 4 weeks old but I'm not very sure. She has been "crying" alot and I can hear her from our house, but she is VERY friendly!!! When we come outside she runs over to our house to be petted and then will begin climbing on things that are on our porch. I'm worried that she was too young to be away from her mother but I know our neighbor won't take her to the vet unless something is visibly wrong with her. They say she can eat hard food but . I wasn't sure if the "crying" was over missing her litter mates/mother or if it could be something else.

My new puppy wakes up and starts 'crying' for no apparent reason at around 4 AM...is there anything I can do to help her??I took her outside ut then she wouldn't go back to sleep, I took her out of the kennel that she sleeps in and she starts trying to tear up my blanket on my bed...is there anything I can do to help her sleep better??

I have an inside cat and we are moving to a new apartment. It has to little patios and alot more room for her to run around. My mom has a large screened in deck that she just loves!

I doubt the apartment complex would allow me to screen in a patio. Is there a technology or some sort of screen that can be put up without nailing anything pernamently?
