Well, first of all, if you breed a female Chihuahua and a male Great Dane, the impregnated female will die withing a few weeks. Although a puppy born of these two breeds would be smaller than a normal Great Dane, it would be MUCH larger than a normal Chihuahua. The baby developing inside of the female will grow too large and eventually kill her.
However, if you were to do the same, but switch the sexes of the dogs, you would just have a funny looking puppy. Most female dogs in heat will lay down so that a male can mount and penetrate her, so the act itself will be difficult to maneuver, and undoubtedly weird, but it's very possible. I have worked with animals for years and you would be surprised at the different things you see out there.

I don't think it would work if the Chihuahau were the female, you dog killer. Try it the other way around and breed the male Chihuahau with the female Great Dane.

I really hope that you chihuahau is the male. If not, run, and run fast.
You will end up at the vet with a very endagered Chihuahau.
What are you thinking?

I would'nt advise it. As I saw on discovery the chiuahau was the result of breeding smaller animals FROM the Great Dane.

She would never even be able to have him mount her and would most likely not survive the tie(when the male/female are stuck together for about an hour after a successful mating).Now even if she did survive-highly unlikely-she would not be able to carry the pups-Toy breeds usually only have one pup and even then might have to have a c-section even if the father is a Chihuahua too.So please do not let that happen ,Thanks.

More than likely, you're going to split the chihuahua in half before she even gets pregnant. lol. Interesting idea if it worked though. It would be like the dog-rat babies in Little Nicky. Tiny bodies and huge heads!

You'll end up paying a huge vet bill to have the pups deliver by C-Section. Trust me it is possable and not a good idea.

The Chihuahua would die. It's insides aren't big enough to support young so large. They would expand and eventually collapse, which means death for the dog and it's babies.
