Atlast, truth prevails. CNN has admitted that it screwed up with their "facts". Michael Moore's systematic, step-by-step evidence nailed them into admitting their errors (that too on Live TV).

I'm hearing a lot of grumbling by people saying ESPN has lost their edge, mainly because they don't have to compete against anyone. Will they ever have legitimate competition? I remember several years ago, CNN and Sports Illustrated had CNNSI, but that faded away. CNN used to have Sports Tonight with with Fred Hickman and Nick Charles, but that seemed like a cheap imitation of SportsCenter. You would think one of the major networks (preferably NBC) would've had the guts to try to take them on with their own 24-hour sports network.

In today's world it is sadly obvious that mainstream media is heavily slanted. Personal viewpoints have taken the place of respectable journalism and Big Business throws it's weight around with no remorse. Many people understand this, and many people are angered by this (Rep.'s and Dem.'s alike), but why do so many people continue to put up with this?

1) Why do we continue to support (consume) slanted media?

And, more importantly, is there even an alternative?

2) Are there any respectable sources of media in this country anymore?

If I had a phone number to call him, I would do so. And tell him myself. Not all German's were Nazi's. Not all Germans followed Hitler's regime. But we must also say they had no choice. it was pure survival of the fittest in that particulary time. But why is he badmouthing Germany? I am from Germany. And I am pissed at his remarks about Nazis!So who has his phone number so that I can call him on the air?
