Can anyone in Houston please tell me what happened to Minerva Perez from Channel 13 Morning News?

I have always watched Channel 13 News in the morning. After returning from a business trip, Minverva was replaced by Sharron. Can someone tell me where Minerva is? Channel 13 News isn't the same without her.

She was offered the 11 pm newcast anchor position - that would have been a demotion - so she quit.
