If I approach a 'person on the street' for the opinion on something, they more often than not are unwilling to be interviewed... why?

I'm not grilling them on anything or trying to catch them in a lie...I'm just trying to get their opinions on stuff...

A man in our local news was arrested for Hanging his dog till dead by the neck in his garage. The news didn't say why he did this awful thing! I am trying not to think about it.

I majored in a Technology related field mainly because I knew growing up that sportscaster/reporter's salaries werent the greatest starting off and in the long term unless you're someone famous, like espn or something... i do love sports but i didnt think it would be something i'd want to do forever because the lack of opportunity/money making

Why is it that sports reports/casters dont make a lot of money? I'm talkin the average one, like one of us...

I chose the IT field cuz well there is more career opportunity and advancements into something like senior executive management and being high in the corporate IT world. any thoughts on this? your experiences?

when the stupid pedophiles are busted & hauled away. "I've never done this before". "I wasn't going to do anything". YEAH wtf ever! Call me sick but is ANY1 else amused by how STUPID these men are. It takes away from critical info that should be reported, in these perilous times. It also borders on the occult, mass hysteria, and diversion! If Jesus was as much promoted and told about, there would be a huge drive-by media outcry from the punk foul-ball libs and lezzies!

I most certainly know what an ediotorial is, and so do I with essays. Other than the fact that an editorial is clearly made by the editor/editors, in terms if form or any other thing, differentiate an editorial from an essay please...


And also, other than the fact that editorials have to be related to that particular issue of a mag or newspaper....

Are they just the same? I think so.
