Yes, I listen to him.
I get my information from various sources and he is a good source.
He makes a lot of sense. (because he applies common sense)
I think he's humorous.
I find it hard to argue with common sense so, I agree most of the time.
I don't really hate anyone.
I did hate the guy who killed Nick Berg but, he's dead now so it's not really worth the effort anymore.

I like Rush. I work nights now, so it's hard for me to be up at that time. I start work at 6pm, so I am usually go back and forth between Mark Levin and Mike Savage - and then Steve Malzberg.
Rush is good, though, but I think he caters the party line a little too much. I would like to hear him criticise Bush more when it is needed.
By the way, people say Rush is a hypocrite because he got addicted to pain meds. First of all - EVERYONE is a hypocrite in one way or another. Secondly - I remember long before he was busted with oxy contins, he always took a stand in favor of medical marijuana. He is one of the few conservatives to be in favor of it.
"That stuff is like gold for people who need pain relief" is an actual Rush quote regarding medical marijuana.

He's a comedian, an entertainer. As far as that goes, I think he's pretty hilarious. It stuns me, though, that so many people take his jokes seriously, and that he has become an "opinion shaper" in this country. His goal is to keep people listening (as is the goal of any entertainer), and he does it by making people angry. But it's all a put on; he's really just a comedian. I wish people would stop taking him seriously.

Rush Limbaugh transcripts should be used as exams in University Logic 101 classes to isolate and detect different types of debate fallacies that are often used.
For instance, he'll say "Its 69 in Bismark today, usually this time of year its 79, so much for the Global warming crowd, Al Gore's a whacko."
The reason he is so popular, in my opinion, is that he treats his audience very well...unlike left-wing talk radio hosts, who seem to show contempt for their audience.
The guy's an entertainer, and a damned good one.

I find him interesting but I don't always agree with him. I'm a news junkie so I listen to everyone.
