everyone's denouncement of Michael Vick for the dog fighting when the world feels nothing is wrong with the slaughtering of animals to make meat? What Michael Vick has done is NOTHING compared to what the slaughter houses do to animals to prepare them for the meat eating public's dinner table.

Does anyone else agree with me? Why condemn Vick when so many people eat meat and those poor animals are abused and ill-treated in ways that can't even be shown to the public.

Kucinich and Story quote (wire)
Asked if Democrats are playing politics with the war, Rep. Dennis Kucinich of Ohio said yes. "The Democrats have failed the people," he said.

Instead of liberal whining and grandstanding why not take a clue from the abysmal congressional ratings by the using the best strategy here.

Fill in the blank. There's known and then there's 'Known'. Plenty of things are well-known within certain circles, but not widely known by the public. Sort of the way JFK fooled around and everybody in Washington knew it, but Mr. and Mrs America did not. Or FDR's being wheelchair-bound, or alot of other things. (Search 'Jennifer Fitzgerald') What do YOU know that the larger public would be surprised to hear?

Let's face it...I regularly watch ESPN. I have seen the fact that many channels (especially news channels) are biased towards a certain political agenda (CNN with the Clintons, Fox with the GOP)...but I have to wonder if there is any such political bias at ESPN, the nation's leading sports channel. I have seen programs that would raise eyebrows such as the Barry Bonds reality show...the American football drama "Playmakers" (American Football = NFL, Football = Soccer if international readers are confused)...and the one-time enlisting of Rush Limbaugh on the network's NFL coverage...I am also aware of Keith Olbermann's political slant on his MSNBC show (and the fact that he was a SportsCenter host). So to make a long story short...is there an actual political bias at ESPN?

And they promise to have the story up next. Then after 45 minutes and five commercial breaks later they have the story. It drives me crazy. I know it's a way to get you to stay tuned to the channel and up their ratings but it really is annoying.

The wrestling team has started a summer program, which wrestlers are now preparing for the upcoming season.
The wrestling team has had a great season last year, and qualified for the CIF.
During practices, the wrestlers participate in live wrestling, practicing moves, and a little fun such as extreme dodgeball.
Participating in team activities help boost team work and relationships in wrestling.
“We are preparing to get better for next year. We have a lot of potential for CIF next year” says four year varsity wrestler, Frank Ayalla.
The wrestling team is practicing extremely hard and this upcoming season, they are planning to inflict lots of damage.
“There is a lot of talent still remaining in the team” says John Kontolefas (12)
A number of varsity wrestlers have left last year, which means there will be opportunities for the other members to take thei

There's a few ways that I know of...
You start to read an an article on the front page of the Editorial section in the Sunday Newspaper that catches your interest and when you get to the bottom of the column it says, "Please see Blah blah blah, Page E2". As you unfold the news paper another headline for another article catches your eye.

Do you ...

A. open the newspaper, go to Page E2 and finish the first article you started reading, then go back to Page E1 and repeat for the other articles?
- or-
B. Read other articles on Page E1 to the bottom of their columns and then after you finished half of all the articles then go to page E2 and finish reading all the other halves?

There's probably a few other ways to read those opinions, any coments?
