Much more liberal and biased. I don't think they like America, so they want to make us look bad.

As a husband of an ex-pat Canadian, and frequent visitor to Toronto, I can tell you this, Canadian News is very bias and left leaning.
First the CBC Controls the news media and they have been successful in blocking FOX news network to enter the Canadian news market.
Canadians are fed only one point of view and for the last 7 years of Bush Bashing has actually created hate of Americans in the mind of most Canadians.
Canadians who live in cities like Toronto, and Windsor hate Americans because the media portrays Americans in such fashion.

It's better. There aren't so many stories about violent crime- because there aren't so many violent crimes. It's a safer, nicer place- so the news isn't as bad. ALSO- they don't have BUSH as President.-So the mood is alot better- & the people are happier. The ONLY thing they really complain about much- is all the Legal Americans that are pouring across their Border during the Summer. But even THAT problem "goes away" when the cold winds of October start blowing. Americans don't like the cold- so they all flee South- for the Winter! :)

well im not Canadian, but from England. And I can generally tell you (I'm not saying U.S. news is biased) but generally you will hear stories and stats that downgrade whatever country is being featured. For example you won't hear the U.S. news saying how many casualties take place in Iraq, but you will hear how many American tragedies took place.
