I don't know any schools in Canada but I know a few schools in the US: University of Missouri-Columbia, Northwestern University, Columbia University, New York University, Boston University, Syracuse, University of Georgia, University of Florida, and University of Southern California.

If you plan on pursuing journalism, you might want to work in big metropolises like New York City or Los Angeles, somewhere where publishing is very popular. Also keep up your grades. When pursuing a career in journalism, you also have to pick a minor. Just to let you know.

Email a local or popular newspaper and see how hard would you have to work to work for a certain paper or magazine.

Pursue a class in journalism in high school. Also join your high school's yearbook or newspaper, preferably newspaper so you know what you work well with. Also take AP English language course. This course helps you improve your writies and develop arguments in case you want to become an opinion writer.

When you are in college, join your college's newspaper and start interning.

btw: you're cute

OK, start working now on your grades. All of them. You need to know a lot about everything, especially English (your foot doesn't go in the door if you can't put together a sentence).

There's probably a school newspaper. See if you can join it. Read the local newspaper. And I'd bet there are e-mail addresses for the writers. Don't be afraid to drop them a line and ask them where they went to school and what you should do to get ahead.

Good luck.
