They were removed after the first of the year, with a promise of something 'better'. It is apparent to me that Yahoo! is more interested in censorship, than profits. This will be their financial downfall. Too bad, as Yahoo! used to be so much better!

I believe it was because the boards were being dominated by a few individuals who were engaged in "flame wars", rather than the interchange of ideas.
