Why would you lie about all that stuff?? Man, I was rooting for him, but it makes me so mad.

The Food Network Channel said Jag lied about deploying to Afghanistan while in the Marine Corps & he also lied about graduating from Culinary School. He was confronted by the 2 judges (who aren't even chef's by the way & shouldn't be judges to begin with). Anyway, Jag admitted to his lies & he withdrew from the competition. If he hadn't done this, I believe the judges would have taken him out of the competition for lying in the first place. They humiliated him in front of National Television with that meeting/confrontation about the lies, that meeting should have been PRIVATE, instead they aired it on TV & that was very embarassing for him. I was rooting for him too, I wanted him to win (they got too many girls with cooking shows, they need more guys!). I wanted him to win but I guess he lied on his application. In my opinion, I think that his background & past should not matter. They should have stuck to judging him by his skills. He shouldn't have lied though. It kinda turned me off. Now that stupid lady with the kids is back. I don't want her to win, I hope Rory wins. She's got more talent.
