If just one student, professor, janitor or secretary had had a gun this would have ended aburptly. The only way this madness will end is for Americans to defend themselves. Dems/Libs answer this question for me. Why did this guy choose a dorm/class room to do his rampage and not Security, a police station or a gun show?

I can't forgive what Cho has done, because it was very morally wrong.
But I feel bad for the parents of Cho, becuase of the fact that they are still here in the world, and now, they have to deal with discrimination from the people who are ignorrant and narrow-minded, just because their son has commited a crime that they didnt even think would happen.

Don't you think as a parent, it would be hard to deal with all these articles and videos on the internet and people cursing your son's name in vain?

&& I know that I'm being a hypocrite here, but I'm just wondering.

Should we too, Ban Pencils for Misspelling, Restrain Women for Causing Rape?

Are Children themselves responsible for being molested?

Do cars and alcohol promote DUI, Speeding, Road Rage and Drive by Shootings?

Does Wal-Mart, K-Mart or Target promote or cause shop lifting?

Should we in turn just put the blame on bad people and make them responsible for their actions?

I just read a report about how the killer at Virginia Tech wrote a story for a class and the story contained some hatred toward rich kids. Are these stuck ups the reason this keeps happening? Couldn't these kids be nice and therefore keep the peace with the loner kids? Why is it so hard for preppy kids to not look down and make fun of the loner kids?

Do you think the media have been responsible in their coverage? Why? If not, how would you have liked to see it changed?

Oi, BNP - why don't you take some of your own advice: get out of here and bog off back to where you came from? Nice, isn't it, to be spoken to like that. How can you justify taking that attitude to society?

Incidentally - the usual behaviour of several BNP trolls here (swearing and name calling) will just prove my suspicion about tiny little racist minds being easily angered by those who have some common sense and decency.

How EXACTLY will that help?
Remember that in Canada, with it's VERY strict gun laws, not one but two deranged people murdered others with firearms that were not legally obtained.
Making gun ownership more difficult for law-abiding citizens will do NOTHING to deter insane or criminal people from obtaining them and will in fact, make the law-abiding, more vulnerable.
I hope you'd agree to that simple, yet irrefutable fact.

I went to school with a guy who was the typical "misfit loner" type. I never mocked him, or was mean to him, but I never went out of my way to be nice to him either. Several years ago, he was sent to prison for killing his girlfriend's infant (less than 6 months old). I have always wondered what happened that made him "turn the corner" from thought to action. I wonder if a smile or a kind word from somebody could have changed anything for him.

I know it's the "chaos theory", but I think that small things probably matter more to some people.

I don't know how we Americans can sleep at night, always going back to a constitution from the 1700's aimed to defend ourselves from the British. How many more times does this have to happen. This time it was a foreigner but no doubt the gun was bought from an American. How long before the next time?
