Always seems like when one school shooting happens one or two follow not to soon after, authorities need to be on their toes at all times, they seem to let their guard down once its calm again

Sadly, copy cat acts of violence are frequently committed.
But, we as a people and as a nation can band together and rise above the petty differences that separate us and unite under a common cause of keeping those who are unstable from being swept under the rug and ignored so that events like this one are kept from happening or are minimized.
We live in a good, decent nation. We need to remember that instead of allowing the tide of hate to overcome us. One person's hurtful acts do not need to become the focal point for everyone else's decisions.
Let us mourn with those that mourn and comfort those who stand in need of comfort. Let us lift up the hands that hang down and rejoice in the time we had with those who are now briefly gone from our sight.
Pray for the families of the victims and their friends.
Pray for the family and friends of the perpetrator.
And pray for all of those who were so near all of the tragedy and whose lives are forever changed.
We need to be more caring and watchful of those in our world. Everyone needs a friend. Too many people feel isolated in their circumstances. While we may not be able to stop every random act of violence, we CAN make a difference to some who may have been headed in that direction.

That door was never shut after the other school shootings. He
was just following in their footsteps.

Sure it will just as Columbine did. There is tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much coverage of this tragic event

The only thing that will be tried to happen will be the elimination of the 2nd amendment of the constitution. but then we lose the constitution in this effort anyway. that will make alot of people happy.
