Because most campuses are liberal. Liberal public doesn't believe in defending yourself. They want the government to control everything.

Exactly right hardtime. The officials and RAs in the dorms should carry weapons in case of a major problem like this. You never know when someone is going to snap their mind! It's too late to call for help. The show is always over by the time the authorities from the local town drops there coffee and donuts and make their way to the scene! This is like having a small town without any defense whatsoever. It's time to protect our students!

Good Question! The Teachers should have every right not only to protect themselves but other students also. I'll bet that the campus police were stretched pretty thin for even one of them carrying a gun to matter.

The campus police at my school are reserve deputy's and carry a Sig 40 cal.

And if everyone had to carry a gun and be trained in shooting, the bad guy would only have killed 2 or 3 before he was mowed down.

why would teachers have guns? that would make gettings guns easy. just beat down a teacher that most likely is carrying a gun and go on a killing spree... that's a genius idea. campus police just need to have better training/carry weapons.
