The man who fought Pinochets extradition. Now that they have escaped back to Britain, are they going to refuse to go back to Portugal to face more questioning. If so they may as well just admit that they are guilty.

im sorry but im sick of all this gossip it makes me feel really sad that everybody is hating them i just feel so sorry for them losing a child no matter how it happened! i cannot compremend how that must feel. Also we dont know what of the evidence is against them do we? and being a suspect in the uk is totally different to being a suspect in portugal if they had good evidence against her they would have arrested her or not have let her return to the uk.

oh and sorry for my poor english havnt been to school in 7 months

Team McCann informed the press beforehand of their departure thereby ensuring maximum coverage of their journey home. They were literally followed the whole way by hoards of journalists and photographers. So we had pictures of Gerry looking distraught on the plane, then the "emotive speech" where he appeared to break down (for the first time since his daughters disappearance I might add). Then the homecoming to their house without Madeleine etc etc. For a couple who want to keep the twins out of this circus it seems a strange way to go about it as they must have wondered what on earth was going on. This journey home was a shameless PR excercise by team McCann to get people to feel sorry for them and to get the ball rolling in the McCanns as helpless victims of PJ incompetence bandwagon.

Hear me out haters...
What happened on May 3rd was:
Kate&Gerry went out for a quiet meal with friends. The kids were all very tired so they didn't need to sedate them (not that they would do that anyway). They decided that instead of availing of the (free)babysitting service (as well as checking on the kids themselves to optimise the safety of the children) they would take it in turns. I fully believe that the kids were checked on every 5 mins without fail. I believe that they were being watched&the abducter snuck in&snatched Maddie in the 3 minute window he had.The twins never woke up as they are heavy sleepers. The blood in the apartment was clearly from a nosebleed maddie had, hence, the blood found in the car (25 days after her abduction) was clearly just a blood trace off Kates clothes(from Maddys nosebleed) that had rubbed off.
Any inconsistencies in the story are to be blamed purely on the media&NOT on any of the tapas 9.

So "haters" have I convinced you of their innocence?

So many people complain when questions are asked on here which criticise the parents. On BBC radio this morning people complained so much about anti McCann calls that the topic was dropped. What a joke. OK, they are innocent until proven guilty. Agreed. But we are all entitled to express our opinions and my opinion is that they are guilty of accidentally killing Maddie. They are certainly guilty of neglect at least and they have yet to admit that.

"Portuguese police said the McCanns' decision to return to Britain will complicate and possibly delay the investigation".

I thought they wanted to do everything to help and appreciated they would come under suspicion?

And why didn't Gerry answer 40 of the Qs put to him.

Seems veyr odd for people who say they have done nothing wrong.

As I am one of the people who believe innocent until proven guilty, and that I have not seen or heard anything that seems more logical than the McCanns being innocent (please don't bother with the bleat: They left them alone, it's been said 1000's of times), I have been on the receiving end, many times of accusations of supporting/condoning abuse and being a bad parent. My daughters are kind, compassionate, strong, likeable, sucessful and happy, so to the other resonable people here who have been accussed of being bad parents, are you proud of the results of your labour?
Controversialiy I will also say, that, had I not learnt the lesson for which the McCanns are paying the price, I may have left my little ones asleep whilst I dined on holiday, shock, horror.
I spent a lot of time with my girls, who looks after the loved ones of the people who spend all day and night, every day and night on here. Who gives their children the attention they need?

How come her friends didnt notice that she was upset then or did she just hide it?

2007-09-09 21:47:12 · 20 answers · asked by jaygirl 4 in Current Events

we all assumed at the time that it was for him to pray for madeleine, and to maybe jog the 'abductor' (or someone who had evidence) into owning up. Now I wonder if all those church visits, and the visit to the pope was to ask forgiveness...

A girl in Union City, GA was arrested for putting to much salt on a burger. The girl accidently spilled the salt on the burger and instead of throwing it away, the managers wiped off the salt and served it. A cop ate the whole thing, got sick and then arrested the girl for trying to poison him. They even sent the burgers to the state crime lab! The girl had to post $1, 000 to get out of jail.
After reading this I called the Union City, GA police department at (770)306-6862 and said I got a burger with too much salt also and could they come up here and arrest the McDonalds kid too?

1.The timeline of the night which was completely inconsistent!along with the friend that walked along the pathway but saw neither Gerry or his friend&vice versa

2.The friend who saw a man carrying what looked like a bundle, then a child, then a girl in pink pyjamas, then Maddy

3.The blood from Maddy in their apartment "could" have been from the convenient nose bleed she may or may not have had that the parents neglected to mention when the issue of blood found was first brought up.

4.The dna in the rent car 25 days AFTER maddie was "abducted" (coincidence that maybe they hired the same car that the "abducter" used?)

5.Gerry's blog - when Gerry stated that he&Kate "quickly realised" that much of what was said in the media was nothing more than speculation (if you're innocent, surely this would be assumed?)

6.The smell of a corpse on Kate's clothes

7.The fact that instead of saying "abducted", Kate&Gerry are suddenly saying "disappearance"

what else am I forgetting?!!

& the gumption to accuse people of murder WITHOUT any
"significant evidence"?????

What do we have here? Just one cold certainity : The McCanns left their babies unattended.
A terrible terrible decision that they feel guilt for.
Add to that guilt, the grief of losing their beloved Madeleine.
Now, add to that nightmare, the horror of being accused of murdering her.
And just who is responsible for this horror???
None other than total strangers who relish being part of a lynch-mob...
No one, i repeat, NO ONE should have the right to speculate / accuse anyone without proof,
in such a disgustingly self-righteous & uncivilised manner.

Baseless accusations defy logic, are unreasonable, irrational & worst of all, are cruel beyond compare.

Now that the McCanns have had to return to their home without their baby, their grief is unimaginable.
A large part of that grief is UNNCESSARY...being caused by accusations of her murder.

All these weeks, i've been pretty calm, almost bland, in my feeble attempts to defend 2 grieving parents
from the unnecessary horror they have been systematically been tortured with.

NOW, I'd like to know, anti-McCanns, how does it feel to be directly responsible as a major contributor to such grief???
Can you sleep at night? OR are your consciences so dead that you are not one bit perturbed at the grief you have caused???
OR are your minds so sick that defence mechanisms of rationalisation are busy at work to justify the witch-hunt created and
fueled by you???

Whether your viewpoint on the McCanns is 'Pro', 'Anti', 'neutral' or you just 'switch off', have you been influenced by any question or answer you have read on Yahoo Answers, or is your outlook entirely influenced by the media or even watching the McCann family themselves.

There has from very early on in the McCann case been the 'dumped the body at sea theory'. But is this credible. Assuming an unweighted body floats like a cork. if I put a cork in the sea just off the Algarve at high tide where will it float to ?

I mean I understand (Bush is a moron and I agree.) but he's not a war criminal or the most evil person in history!..please. "give it a rest already!"
and even worse is that 9/11 conspiracy nonsense.
(Note: I don't say this out of bias I studied every conspiracy theory and simply put; to me the offical report makes more sense than these conspiracy theories.
(The supposed evidence just doesn't add up to the facts.)

I sure hope once Bush is out of office that this annoying propoganda will simmer down some.
(I mean I know it will never go away!..obviously.)
but I'd like to visit Ground Zero without having listening to "9/11 was an inside job" over and over...Also they just love to stir up trouble I've seen some people get pretty angry when they get up in people faces and start preaching their propoganda at them.
