Don't lose sight of what this is really all about. Madeleine is STILL MISSING.

Don't give up on her.

To those of you who feel Madeleine may be dead, her body still needs to be recovered and reunited with her family.

I was thinking this last night, although it is as likely as it is unlikely she will be found safe and returned to her family , it would be wonderful, my faith in humanity would be restored. It would be an amazing ending to this tragic situation. Well said

I don't think there is any indication that anyone has given up on Madeleine. Or lost sight of the issue. The discussions on this forum are all about what might have happened to her, some better thought out than others.

Madeleine has disappeared, we don't know what has happened to her, it is sadly likely that she is no longer alive. The fact that we don't know is why I remain puzzled about why the huge sum of money in the fund has apparently never been used to hire Private Investigators, with expertise in the field, to find her.

Other children have disappeared over the years and never been found. Genette Tate in Devon, 14 I think, when out delivering papers one Saturday morning. Azaria Chamberlain in Australia - taken by a dingo her mother said. Body never found, but her babygrow was found, neatly folded and buried. Dingo's may bury things they don't fold them!

A parent the main and most likely suspect in both cases. We don't know the truth about these mysteries, we may never know the answer to Madeleine.

What I would like us not to forget is the many other missing children - some very young - who are not getting the publicity.

I have never given up hope and still pray that Madeleine will be found safe and well. Unfortunately, as time goes by and more is found out, I think that this is unrealistic. I would hope that all the anti-McCanns and Pro-McCanns never forget what this case is all about-a 4 year old little girl who has gone missing in the most terrible situation. Although I have my own opinions on the case, YA seems to be turning into a sick tell-tale site. However, if you don' t like the question you don't answer it. Thanks for your level headed approach.
Still in my prayers Maddie.

Edit: Can't believe that Kamran has reported you for this. What an idiot!
Surprise-he has removed his answer, sensible people all giving him thumbs down.

Our sympathy goes to Madeleine, not really the parents. I don't know what kind of parents would leave their 4 year old child, and the twins are even younger. This reminds me of a movie, the story starts with the mother covered in blood burst into the emergency room in the hospital, claiming that someone beat her up and took her child in the car. The detective investigating was nearly convinced, until the twists at the end where he found out she was lying, and then in the end admitted that her child died. Before going on a date, she gave her child some cough syrup to calm him down and so that he will go to sleep while she's gone. The thing is, she must have overdosed the child, cos when she came back he wasn't breathing at all. Assumed that her child is dead she asked her date to help her bury her child. I hope this is just fictional and doesn't happen in real life. I must say there was a mum who mentioned to me that she give dose of medicine to her child to calm them down. I didn't say anything of course, just kept my thought to myself that if she does it, some people probably does. I was thinking if both parents are doctors, wanting to have a night out (but I just don't understand why they didn't hire a babysitter for the night)........ Too many theories. But if Madeleine is not alive, where is her body. If Madeleine is alive and missing, would we just hope instead that somebody is taking really good care of her?

Yes, good point, I agree.
What a shame that that poor little girl could be alone somewhere or even her body laying somewhere.
Lets hope that whoever is responsible for the disappearance tells all soon.

Search in the Atlantic, where her parents have drowned her!

If You want to help the mother then donate via paypal for the expensive lawyers!

Well the Portugese gave up on her hours after she was abducted.

People are just coming on these forums to slag the McCann's. Stupid little slaggers.

There is still hope until they find her either way. God bless the missing children. I pray for them every day.
