First of all the meat should have been thrown out if it was contaminated with too much salt, as to avoid a situation like this and second of all if the burger was so salty why didn't he just bring it back and complain and get a refund or another one? Both sides have to share the blame. It makes you wonder though.... what happens if someone accidently spills rat poison instead of salt? will they turn a blind eye to that as well?

I think it's right, people who work with food get away with far too much, like dropping it on the floor and still serving it etc. If I'm buying something to eat I want to know that it is good quality and has been prepared to the best possible standard, wether it's in McDonald's or the Ritz. These people should be made an example of and then maybe others wouldn't be so careless with paying customers food. The meat should have been thrown out immediately.

I think the policeman is abusing his power. Can you imagine what would happen if people could get the police to arrest someone for reasons like this. Everyone would be in jail. This would be ridiculous even if he filed a civil suit.

I coulnd't believe it when I heard the employee was arrested. I would have gone back and demanded a refund. I thought it was ridiculous.
