I found this an interesting piece of Portuguese law.
"Under Section 138 of the Portuguese Penal Code on the crime of "abandonment" even if the McCanns are not physically involved in Maddy's death,if death is proven, the McCanns can still be arrested under Section 138 ,meaning, she died due to abandonment. This is a serious offense and carries up to 10 years in jail."

Social Severice get involved!
No Chance of that
Social Services only get invovled in the working class!
These are middle class so called educated people.
Part of the system!
I am PROUD to be working class
PROUD to have always taken care of my children
PROUD to say I have never left them unattended
Good Luck

Social services have to open a file on the McCanns, they have admitted leaving three children alone while the raved it up with their chums. This is a crime. And its no good saying we were only one hundred yards away... the distance involved is totally irrelevant.

not a hope in hell social services wont get involved unfortunately its a class thing they have a fancy house good jobs and a nanny and they also have their house and kids clean and tidy so no social services will not be getting involved as long as you have pleanty of money and a nice house that is clean and tidy and clean and tidy kids social services will not go near you so you can do whatever you like to your kids

if it were me that had been that stupid as to leave my kids like they allegedly did then i would be tarring my hair out.
probably kick screaming and crying would come into it a lot.
but not them they just keep on smiling
something is a miss and that's not just Maddy
lets see what social services do about the other two
or may be they cant until some one reports child abuse

Social Services are far more sinister and terrifying than any Police Force!!!!!!!!!!
The mere mention of them strikes fear into the heart of any parent out there.
Child Protection Hearing is NOT what you want to be hearing about your kids!

Social Services getting involved?????
Hah I doubt it - they can't even get involved where there are serious abuse issues as a number of recent cases have proved.

i would admit everything now and getter a lighter sentence rather than wait for everything to be revealed, by police, and get a long time in jail
